Roami at St. Helene

Room was clean and nice. Loved the balcony. It was incredibly loud early mornings when the service trucks came to the huge hotel across the street. No onsite staff or bag storage.

If you like garbage men at 4am and street cleaners at 5 delivery all morning long the room is not alittle bit sound proof. No plugs to plug in items, no microwave old coffee pot.and itcost us 250 just to park our car.

What stay? Booked the hotel at 2:10pm and by 5pm, I did not receive a “code”. Called the location as no one was available for check in at the property. The phone ranged an hour before someone answered. Then the person said that since I was a resident of the city I needed a REASON why I wanted to stay there. Although none of their business but I did proceed to tell them that my husband and I were deployed and was allowed a few days off. Since we subleased our place we just needed a place to stay for the night. The woman said that was not a good reason. Seriously? Yes she was very serious. We tried to cancel them at 7:20am the NEXT day I received an email with the code and instructions on how to enter the property.

DOOR KEYPAD ISSUES! Front lobby door to the street would sometimes simply just be open so anyone could come in? When we exited or entered, we'd wait for the door to lock (sometimes it correctly locked instantly). Our room keypad didn't work and after the first night it didn't work at all. But after a lengthy call and waiting - maintenance arrived quick - but had to replace the entire keypad. The new keypad still had some quirkiness unlike typical keypads (sometimes it would take a few minutes to lock).

very nice place, easy access and easy checking and checkout. problem is this place dont have free parking. walkable to french market, parks. this place is a very good location to anywhere in french quaters. really recommended.

The lights were coming in all throughout the night through the window. They need to put up black-out curtains.

This room was perfect for what we needed. It was comfortable, clean, and in a great location. The pool was an added amenity. This hotel has a special charm all its own.

Building and rooms were clean and did feel safe. Very convenient to all things French Quarter. Only hiccup was did not have hot water for a day, however communication was easy and response was fast. Could use better water pressure so it doesn’t take so long to wash long hair in shower 😉

I LOVED this property! The room was adorable! Super cute theme. I plan on staying at this location angain. Everything you want to see and do in New Orleans and the neighboring areas are easily accessible on foot. Also, the price was very reasonable.

It took me 45 minutes to get into my room because my code wasn’t working. I emailed someone and didn’t receive a response for two days!!! The tv doesn’t even work in the room and my outside entrance barely locked so I felt unsafe my whole stay!!
