It was good but I was expecting great. I booked the stay based on the expectation of a balcony and didnt receive that. The room and bed were both smaller than i would've liked but the location made up for that. I cant say i would recommend, i prefer a more traditional hotel feel and this was lacking in that area. The walls are too thin and the doors could use a stopper as it sounds like a slamming sound all day.

The room was centrally located in the French Quarter which made walking to everything a breeze. This was especially important with all the craziness and the street closures due to the super bowl. I also liked being able to come straight in and go to my room without any extra interaction. I had the codes to check in as soon as I got there

My code to the lobby doors was incorrect and I had to call from outside the building to get someone to send a new one but they did move very quickly. I also did not like not being able to refresh my towels and washcloths beyond what was provided for day one. I also felt like the early check-in fee was pretty steep, but I did appreciate the option.

I've stayed in other "older" New Orleans-type boutique properties in the city, and they were great, but I wouldn't recommend this one for several reasons (and I'm not really a "hotel" snob; yes, I understand this isn't a hotel, but a different kind of property). There is no front desk, which I knew but it was annoying, esp. because there was no luggage storage. There is no elevator. They never sent me an email with check-in instructions, so I had to call to get them to text them to me as I was trying to get into the building. You have to take out your own trash, but the check-out instructions only said to leave it in the designated trash area. There are no signs for designated trash drop. I had to call as I was rushing to check out. I found out there were trash cans out front we are supposed to use. This should be stated in the check-out instructions. There was no window. Also, I realize buildings in New Orleans are old, but this was old, musty-smelling, and uncomfortable. There were a few maintenance issues that I messaged the property about to hopefully fix for the next guest. I was only there for a couple quick, busy days during Super Bowl week, and didn't have time to call about this. The walls are extremely thin. I heard an entire phone conversation of my neighbor who came in at 5:30 a.m. Again, I'm not that picky about properties I stay at, but I won't stay here again. If you can't afford much, aren't picky, and just need a place to sleep, then this should suffice.

If you want cheap, this is for you. If you want a nice place, pass!

It was in a great spot in the city. Easily accessible to all the cool parts of New Orleans. It had everything we needed. The communication with staff was great. They were prompt via text and very kind. My biggest issue was with cleanliness. The walls were dirty with hand and foot prints. The shower had someone’s hair on the walls from a previous stay and the floor had either sand or dirt on it as though it hadn’t been vacuumed. Otherwise it was a fine place to sleep at night.

Everything Upon arrival the check in process was stressful, not user friendly or easy to follow. We were sure how to reach out for help, not one person on site. Tried calling next morning for towels, was 3rd in line and waiting almost an hour for towels.

I recently stayed at Roami on St. Helene, and it was a fantastic experience! The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the French Quarter and just a short walk from Bourbon Street. It was such convenient location, I’d definitely recommend for Super Bowl weekend and Mardi Gras.

Horrible overall experience from the smell to the noise. Walls are so thin all sound from next door and in the hallways sounds like your in the same room

Everything was clean, nice decor. The bed mattress was a bit worn out. The location is fabulous.
