Roami at St. Helene

The location was great! And the balcony was perfect for people to watching.

It wasn’t very clean! The showers were dirty, as were the floors!

Only things that were a positive about this property were the balcony was nice, the bed was comfy but broken, the AC worked great and the location was great for walking to everything we needed.

Other than that, NOT worth the price, the lack of sleep from the copious amounts of noise. The ear plugs left on the night stand should’ve been our first red flag. Don’t get me wrong this isn’t the worst place iv ever stayed but it’s definitely in the top 3 worst. The shower floor was gross. The doors to the balcony were not even, there for did not close correctly or all the way. The built in blinds didn’t fit correctly so one of them would not close at all. The walls mind as well not of even been there because every night/morning it felt like we were sleeping on the balcony with how outrageously loud it was in the room from the trash trucks and street cleaners. The walls were VERY thin so we could hear every conversation of our neighbors. The pool was dirty so we couldn’t use that. Overall I would not recommend nor would I come back. Honestly if we didn’t already have so many plans and reservations for activities booked I would’ve check out immediately.

Often there is no data working for cell phones in New Orleans, especially at front door of this property. I could not get the email or use app. I was 90 minutes at front door trying to get into lobby and later room. Customer service person that finally answered in Philippines was helpful, but took more than 5 different codes from her before I was able to get into the room.

great location

The hotel was great and rooms were cozy. Food and shopping is within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.
