Breakfast was terrible, not even worth eating. It was also a little sandy on the floors in the room

Everything you need in the kitchen. Recommend tea pitchers for longeer stays. Bed comfortable.

No ice bucket in room

I usually do not stay at Townplace Suites but had a surprisingly good stay at Townplace Suites Outer Banks on a road trip to SC in Feb 2026. I am Marriott Plantinum and was upgraded to an ocean view suite. The suite was very clean and spacious and very quiet. Although the hotel is not ocean front, it is a short walk to the beach and the property has a satilite pool area arcross the street right on the beach. Breakfast was good for a hotel of this level. It even had an outdoor terrance with seating and tables but it was too cold to get out in Feb.

Stayed for a quick overnight on a road trip south. Hotel is clean and fresh, a very pleasant stay, nicer than your average chain hotel. We arrived in the midst of a bad rain storm, but the location looked nice, just across the street from the beach. Complimentary breakfast was pretty sad, just a lot of processed, packaged and some rubbery eggs, we skipped it.

Beautiful hotel. Extremely friendly staff. This is a great location as well. The bed was very comfortable and the room was beautiful, nicely furnished and well equipped.

Ventilation fan was tremendously loud and made it literally unable to sleep at all Receptionist did not do anything about it Management blamed it on the wind that was non existent that night Never ever have we experienced such poor service and problem solving

Very stylish, contemporary inside rooms/areas yet nostalgic, appealing facade. Immaculately clean room. Firm yet comfortable beds. Soft linens. Well-stocked for short stay. Impressed with full kitchen (glass top range, microwave, full/small fridge, sink, and mini stainless steel fridge) DELICIOUS full breakfast and the pearl sugar Belgian waffles were — insanely good. Great service from Jessica at front desk. Really appreciate the full ramp into the property. Elevators work great. Small but lively indoor pool.

No entrance from covered parking (we have handicapped plates) into facility. It would be AWESOME if a guest could enter under to covered parking area. The tile in the roll-in handicap shower was damaged and awkwardly repaired (white grout/silicone?) which was unattractive but didn’t impede use of well-fitted handicap shower/shower chair.
