El Cid El Moro Beach Hotel

As we entered our room for the first time when we checked in I removed my sandals and the floor was so dirty the bottom of my feet were black within one minute. This tells me that the floor was not cleaned before we checked in. The door to the patio had a gap so big, anything could crawl through from outside. The restroom had hardly any lighting at all. I could not even read the shampoo or conditioner bottle to tell the difference while showering. Walls we're so thin you could hear the Neighbors eating off of their plate when the the fork touched the plate. Had to ask for a new iron 3 times because they were leaking water or burnt. After asking two or three times for these issues to get resolved, they finally got resolved.However, it took at least two days. Never recommending this hotel.

This was our 3rd time at El Cid. The rooms at Moro are huge and a great value for the money. While the food is acceptable with suffient options, we typically eat outside the hotel. The reaort is conveniently located within walking distance to nurmerous good local restaurants. The resort's pools are the best in Mazatlán! Access to tennis, pickleball, and golf were nice amenities not available at other resorts in the area. The fitness facility has cardio, machines, and free weights to complete any kind of workout.

Nice room, nice beach, chilly pool, good activities. We only book the room and it was enough. Great supermarket across the street.

Beautiful location and well kept facility. Would definitely go back.

Good vacation

Location was very very good and the grounds were kept very clean

Food was good, room facing ocean a must ,friendly staff ,beach was average , weather was chilly mornings and evenings . Windy as well , overall ok

Great hotel with a fantastic breakfast buffet featuring live mariachi music. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the location offered stunning views. The alcoholic drinks were excellent. However, there was a lack of maps and information about the hotel’s restaurants and amenities, and the cash exchange limit of $100 per day was inconvenient. Overall, a great stay with minor drawbacks.

Beverages & snacks and pools should be available at all resorts. Pay to eat at upgraded restaurants. Or difference should be explained on website.
