Flamingo Resort & Spa Santa Rosa Sonoma, Tapestry by Hilton

The pool was fun, the room was super clean and fit 3 people nicely. Restaurant was understaffed but the people there were working hard! Dinner was OK - the appetizers were the best. Maybe get breakfast elsewhere, there’s actually a large number of restaurants within walking distance. We walked to a brewery and a coffee shop.

What a fun visit we had at the LazeAway Club for cocktails and snacks! We just went for drinks but had the best time--and not because we got tipsy :) ! I felt like we were by the pool at a Hawaiian resort! Our server, Marina, was so incredibly nice and fun to chat with! Even though she was busy, she took the time to have fun chats with us! We felt like we made a new friend! Though I can't remember his name (sorry dude), we also had fun chatting with another one of their servers who is a car enthusiast originally from Canada. He deserves a shout out too! In addition to having great servers, the cocktails were super festive. Every cocktail was not only delicious but they were beautifully garnished--think fun, festive luau-style garnishes. We only had a side of fries but they were yummy! They were those kind of twice-fried style fries that are so delicious! Anyway, whether you are local or visiting the area, the LazeAway Club would be a fun pit stop for a chill cocktail and yummy snack in a loungey atmosphere. (By the way, the restaurant menu looked pretty tasty too!)

I'm writing this review primarily to rave about Trevor Coghlan, masseuse at the Spa. I have had hundreds of massages in many places around the world, and this was the very best deep tissue work ever. He even tells dad jokes when he's about to do something a little intense, and whodathunkit, laughing really does help. And he also has a lovely firm, confident, and flowy technique that is just so relaxing 'cause it is so easy to trust he knows exactly what he is doing. On top of that, he is a genuinely good guy who is really passionate about what he does. I will fly back to Santa Rosa just to see him. Also, I want to rave about the waiter Shannon at the restaurant. She is funny and adorable, and made my dinner even better. I've been amazed at how good the food is!!

It was my friends birthday so we made reservations for 12 people at the flamingo’s restaurant. The staff went above and beyond for us . They made us feel as if we were the only big party having dinner there on that beautiful Sunday night . Gabe had told us what his favorites were on the menu and now they are our favorites. The mushroom appetizer was a big hit . Marina is an impressive server . She is fabulous. She kept our glasses full and our table cleared . Oh and Bryson was the perfect wing man to complement the trio . Just a wonderful time and what friendly personable service . A great time had by all . We love the flamingo and have been going for years but the staff on this Sunday night and Monday day were the best . Thank you Sandra Casolla

I am not going to go there and will not recommend anyone to go to their spa. Today I am calling the spa to book an appointment. Without knowing that the spa closes at 5 pm. But someone is picking up the phone. It is unnecessary to be rude to me because I have never been to the spa before, and I don't know that the spa is closed. I am extremely disappointed with the way I was treated when I called this spa to try to book a massage. The staff member who answered the phone was rude, impatient, and raised their voice at me for no reason. Why pick up the phone if the spa is close ? What shocked me the most was that the call was suddenly hung up on me in a very disrespectful manner. This is completely unacceptable and below the standard of customer service expected from a professional spa. I would strongly recommend that the management address this issue immediately and improve their staff's communication and customer service skills. I am no longer doing any business with them and will not recommend anyone in my family and friends to do any business with them. I have been working in the hotel and spa industry for 25 years and have never experienced something like this before. Very disappointed. Especially in highly competitive areas like Napa and Santa Rosa, businesses should not treat customers with such a poor attitude and unprofessional behavior.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I had several tasty meals in the restaurant.

There was no complimentary breakfast, as most hotels provide.

I have been to the Flamingo over the last few weeks and I have been treated like a queen by a couple of employees—especially a server named Gabe. His customer service has been impeccable. Very impressed.
