A perfect stay in downtown Santo Antonio. Carlos (the owner0 speaks English, is highly responsive on WhatsApp and organised all aspects of my stay on Principe - from the airport transfers to sightseeing and delicious meals. Highly recommended (by someone who has lived full-time in hotels for more than 10 years)!

The breakfast omelet that they individually prepare for you was large and had ham, etc. It was filling. The rest was not particularly impressive.

When I booked, I was going to have breakfast included. However, after arrival, I was told that breakfast is an additional 10 €. I flipped out my smartphone to show him otherwise. He flipped out HIS smartphone to show me that I was wrong As I can't read Portuguese - I ended up paying an extra 10 € per day. Having said that, I would like to give the proprietor the benefit of a doubt since something SIMILAR occurred when I was in Sao Tome ! It's something that needs to be cleared up so that there won't be dueling smartphones in the future ! Maybe MIS- communication ???

Nice guesthouse, clean room, good attention, good WiFi. I arrived sick and the owner Carlos offered me a drink to feel better. Really nice.

The owner tried to sell me the services that I didn't order and are overpriced: breakfast, toilets inside the room. A little bit pricey for the location, but there are no better ther options.

This is a great little place. The room with private bathroom is good, the aircon is good, breakfast is very good, worth the price, Carlos is a very nice host who goes the extra mile to make your trip comfortable; organising boattrips, excursions on the island, airport transfer or even sometimes cooking a meal in the evening if he has the time. Highly recommended!

Electricity on the island is shut off between midnight and 8 am which is a pity because of the aircon but not the host's fault, of course.

Clean room with a comfortable bed and good a/c. Location is a short walk from centre of the town. Can offer excursions to see local sights of interest.

Room was non-ensuite. Pretty sure I booked an ensuite. Located next to the town's only petrol station, though it proved less noisy than feared.

This is the best value hotel for people looking for entry level accommodation. It is right at the edge of town. The rooms have a fan or AC. There is hot water. The breakfast is huge. There is a place to hang wet clothes. The tiny taxi stand to hire motorbike drivers is close by. The hotel will arrange tours if you don’t want to use motorbikes. Carlos and his staff are all nice.

No complaints! When you compare what they offer to surrounding facilities in the community; then you will understand how good this place is!

Breakfast was one morning really nice. The other morning it was way less. They take good care of a litter of cats.

The guest house is next to a petrol station, which means there is a lot of come and go of cars and motor cycles. Pretty noisy. I was not treated very nice by the manager. First I had to wait a long time. Than pay immediately. Couldn't find my money quick enough. He got pretty upset with me.

Carlos is a great host, he made us feel welcome and organized transport, activities and guides. The hotel is good. The hotel is in a quiet location, but there are restaurants and stores nearby.
