Quality Inn Arkansas City North

Front desk did not inform us that the pool was out of service before we checked in and told us that there would be no refund because of the pool. Sad we chose this hotel because of the pool and hot tub. The floors were dirty. My kids bare feet were black before I tucked them into bed and she only walked on the carpet. The carpet must have been yucky because they were clean when we got out of the truck. The mattress on our bed must have been set on a lot because the side of the mattress was sloped toward the floor.

Breakfast okay, and quick response with issue in our first room resolved with relocation of another room to bathroom facility not working properly after being reported to front desk.

Pool was down but that’s ok it wasn’t our main objective.

Everything was great

The location was great and convenient to get to. Rooms were spacious and secure and clean. The AC worked really well and the water for showers were comfortably hot and just right. The TV was good and Internet access was fine. It was a good place to try and get some sleep.

The pool and Spa were down for so called painting but clearly the pumps weren’t working, there was scum floating and the atrium smelled of stale water. But, none of this was advertised on Booking.Com before booking it. The complimentary breakfast was breads and pastries with some fruit but no protein being offered; had to go elsewhere to find a healthy breakfast. The bed (king size) springs were soft in the center and hard to get comfortable and the small sized pillows were a joke; but, I get it, maybe guests won’t walk off with those small pillows; but trust me, bring your own if you want comfort or a good nights sleep. Otherwise, it was a place to sleep for 3 days while we spent our time elsewhere during the day. We were on the 2nd floor and I was surprised there was no elevator; but, that seems to be the norm.

Some other guests are here but it’s not full, it’s peaceful and pretty darn quiet

The staff was friendly, gave me my refund with no issues.

First of all one of the reasons I booked the room was for the indoor pool and hot tub, both were closed for repairs and I did not find this out until I checked in. Then the room they gave me had a hole in the floor so I switched rooms and that one had holes as well. I got a refund and changed hotels completely. Will NEVER stay here.

Affect the pool closes at 9:00 when 10:00 is better and more typical of hotels staff could be a lot nicer replace your games they steal quarters left and right
