Novotel Southampton

Very comfortable rooms, good room facilities. Pleasant reception staff.

Long check in queue.

The hotel felt soul less. I felt the hotel was clean. The hotel did not feel like a 4 star hotel. I cancelled breakfast as I had the feeling it would be disappointing. The bed was comfortable but a Premier inn has a better bedroom better shower better customer service.

Clean and the bed was comfy.

The breakfast was not worth the money we paid. The continental side of it was really good but the cooked side let it down.

Parking and easy to find . Breakfast - but expensive!

Superb location for seeing Take That in concert. Loads of places to eat nearby.

Strange that the toilet is in a separate room to the bathroom, so having used the toilet you need to walk to a different room to wash your hands, have not touched door handles. There is no air conditioning in the room, however this was pointed out before booking.

Convenient for cruise port

The staff not understanding the car park rules and trying to considerably over charge us and the unnecessary time it took to sort it out - I am sure we are not the first to have had this and this shouldn’t have happened
