Novotel Melbourne On Collins

The lift was in the middle of being upgraded whilst we were there so it slowed down getting to and from lobby to reception and then to our room apart from that stay was great

I was not comfortable in the room overlooking Collins ... need to rest on arrival and Trams impeded theis

Location is excellent. Concierge staff are great. Bed was very comfortable.

Poorly maintained. 3 of 5 lifts not operating. Rooms are dark and dated. Windows are dirty outside.

Location is excellent. Beds are comfortable. One of the rooms we booked was a king room with a king bed and 2 singles, the singles were in a separate room, which was great for parents travelling with children.

Pillows aren't the most comfortable.

Excellent location. The size of the room was good. Pool area was nice. Breakfast was good.

The aircon in our room was exceptionally loud. It was noisy 24/7, even when our aircon was turned off. The noise was similar to a train going past. The room was very old and dated, in good need of a refurbishment. Cracks around door frames, furniture appears to be original to the building. There's minimal security as the lifts don't require keycard access, so anyone off the street could access the floors. Considering we paid over $1600 for 3 nights, I don't feel it was value for money. I wouldn't consider this hotel until the renovations are completed.

The property is in a good location, nice clean, very helpful staff.. breakfast has a good range of food

If u have a car the parking thru the hotel is a little bit expensive per day..
