MainStay Suites Appleton Airport - Fox River Mall Area

Quiet and clean, friendly staff, great location close to the highway.

Very clean, feels new, reasonably good included breakfast, all amenities including pool/hot tub, outside grill, business center in good working order, overall very good choice for the area

Staff was nice.

Clean, spacious room. Good breakfast. Liked the noon check-out, the pool open until midnight and breakfast hours 7:00-10:00 on Sunday morning.

Even though it was winter Residence Inn was super clean and the staff was super friendly. The only issue we had with the staff was that we were almost parked in by one of their laundry staff since they parked opposite of everyone else. We stayed in a room that had a Kitchenette in it and there was practically a full kitchen available, complete with a dishwasher, dishes, and an ice maker. The biggest issue we had with the room was there was a draft coming in from the windows, and in a Wisconsin winter it was difficult to keep the room warm, had to use the extra blankets provided just to stay warm while we slept.

This is our second time staying at this property, and we were very pleased with the staff and cleanliness of the hotel. The breakfast in the morning was excellent, and they also have a nice pool/hot tub.

I went to Packers vs. Seattle and hotels in Green Bay were highly overpriced, so I stayed in Appleton. I was at this hotel Friday to Monday. It is a little bit rundown and there are technology issues: WiFi in room stopped working at one point (called reception but she did not know how to fix it and tried to call Manager who was at home), no USB charging connection for cellphone in rooms, software on desktop computer in business center needs to be updated. Curiously, the WiFi started to work the following morning despite my not receiving a call back from the lady at reception. Also, there is no safe in the room for your valuables. Overall, though, this is still an OK hotel. Breakfast included hot food and fresh fruit. They provide free (unlimited) bottles of water in the lobby. The hotel was quiet and the staff were fairly friendly. It is located near I-41 highway, so that made it easier to get to the game.

Left after one night, I would have left but arrived late and exhausted. This is a perfect example of "skimp-flation" pay the same price for horrible filthy room. I'm a diamond member and this is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in...enough said. Manage don't waste my time or yours by saying "I'm sorry I didn't meet your expectations"
