When in manila, Makati shangrila is the ideal place to stay...the staff are well trained to be accomodating to your needs..despite us being place at the 25thfloor - special mention to Mr Kayvin & melanie who are attentive to our small request.

What was not to like? We tried each of the breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets, and did not encounter a food we did not enjoy. Sage grill was excellent, the spa was relaxing, and the pool provided my kids with hours of enjoyment (and energy burnoff, as every parent wants). Every single staff member we encountered was beyond exceptional in their service, and shows the standard of care that gives the hotel its deserved reputation. If we return to Manila, Makati Shangri-La is our first choice of accomodations.

The only thing that displeased me was having to leave after just three days. Any future visit will have to be longer!
