Punthill Apartment Hotel - Flinders Lane

Our Stay was very convenient and comfortable

Just the car parking was a bit hard

The location was amazing - Flinders Lane is the lane behind Flinders Street where the iconic train station is. The lane is narrow and full of shops, restaurants and other businesses. The room had everything one might need. Fridge, microwave, tv, good wi-fi, and the bathroom was well supplied,

The hotel only had a few parking spots for tiny vehicles. The parking lot they recommended was about 2 blocks away. That's a long way to roll suitcases through busy sidewalks. Fortunately the sidewalks were quite smooth. I was later told some guests park in the lane to drop off luggage before parking. I didn't think that was an option considering how narrow and busy the lane was. Accessibility could be improved. There are several stairs to navigate with your luggage and staff didn't assist. The elevator requires you to swipe your keycard to go up which is a bit much to juggle along with all your luggage.

Great location, easy to get around Melbourne, really close to trams, central, easy to walk to shopping areas and close to Coles Supermarket

Brilliant location, just steps from cafes and public transport

There were a number of noises during the night. We heard toilets being flushed and some strange mechanical type sounds.

Great location, was short walk to the venue for my meetings and there was lots of options in close walking distance for dinner or drinks.

Dirty run down apartment. Very noisy all night. Shower in bath with water saving shower head. Cheap, poor quality amentities (soap, toilet paper etc). Bad adour in hallway, lift and apartment, The tell you to park at 300 Flinders Street and bring them the ticket so you pay them and they validate it but they charge more than the carpark does (rip off). I would not stay here again, did not enjoy anything about it.
