Country inn Lampasas

I thought this would be an OK place at a good price. I was wrong. It was dirty, light bulbs missing, room stinks, pillow cases stained badly, and just a dark dank room. Construction workers played loud Mexican music until midnight and cases of beer cans left in the morning. This is a terrible motel.

There were MULTIPLE stains on all towels, pillow cases, and sheets. There was no “do not disturb” sign, so therefore no way to tell Housekeeping to not come in. Even asking for new towels, the new towels still had disguising yellow/brown stains on them.

this place was probably one of the worst places ive ever stayed. Yes i had a late check in but that should not of mattered. what i got when i opened the door to my room was no light bulbs in the lights , i had one light for the whole room and it was not bright, the bathroom had no plug for the tub and they left one towel no hand towel, no wash cloth, just one towel. there were fingerprints and just dirty ness everywhere they were not covid clean the fridge did not work the sheets were not white and the floor was not vacuumed .. if you want to stay here id really re consider this place as a very last resort, i cant believe they are still open and functioning..

You lost my reservation so i had to use my card to get a room then you charged my card for the reservation..so i paid twice for a crappy room..watch your cards after you stay here..

easy to find The room we got #104 was the last one available tho we had a reservation. When we went to bed, we found the bed frame was broken and the bed was slanted at least 10 degrees. Very difficult to sleep without rolling off the bed.

The staff was nice and it was clean but the bed was broke.

One wash rag that was dirty and stained. Stains and hair on bedding. Come on owners. How many reviews until you do something! One wash rag. Two bath towels. That’s it. No hand towels. Stains and dust. The only good thing is your front desk worker. He was kind. Easy check in. Pillows are old and flat as paper!!! This was not worth $70 per night.

Pulled into town in driving rain, after dark, dog tired. That's my excuse for not looking around. If you decide to stay here, examine the room before you pay. Just because they say it's a non-smoking room doesn't mean it smells like one. Accommodations are old, worn, tired, and not particularly clean or comfortable. The curtains in my room didn't work—I had to remanufacture them for the night. Worst of all, management committed the ultimate sin of motel operation: skimping on hot water. On leaving, my complaint about the cold shower brought the usual dumb look with mumbled apology. If you must stay here, you'll survive. If have a choice, don't stay here.

We stayed here one night and our backs paid for it for 4 or 5 days after we left . You could feel the springs with your fingers the mattress was the worst I have ever slept on . We went down the street to the Inn at Lampassas see my review on Jan 19 th we are still here.
