Country inn Lampasas

This place is a dump. Rooms are dirty, dusty, and smell like smoke. Gross shower and bathroom.

The girl in the office at check in was very friendly and got us checked in quickly. I asked a couple of questions about a venue we were headed to and she was very helpful. She was amazing at check in and check out! Now the room…. It was DIRTY. There were dead crickets everywhere on the floor. I probably would have just chalked that up to the fact they were everywhere outside too had it not been for the fried chicken crumbs all over the floor in front of the mini fridge and the other bits and pieces of small trash all over the floor. One of the comforters looked like it had huge blood stains all over it. Thankfully the kids always take blankets with them on road trips so we just took the comforter off and used the girls’ blankets to cover up with. Basically the room served our needs just to have a place to shower, change and sleep during our trip to Lampassas for a concert. This is an older hotel so I wasn’t expecting fancy but would have preferred a little more attention to the cleaning of the room.

WiFi was non existing. Roaches on porch of door. AC horrible n vents looked like it was growing hair it was so dirty n NOT COOL.also requested NON smoking room but it remakes of smoke smell We had to move rooms after 1st night and it was worse. Ppl cooking food on sidewalk n throwing the onion peels on sidewalk. NO POOL it was empty. The lady n gentle man at front desk was very nice but I felt bad asking and asking for something to be fixed. Only gave is 1 towel a,day. Sad to say will never visit again. Sorry.

I would have liked to have a blanket and a fitted sheet that would stay on the bed. Overall the place was good for the price

The room was clean and comfortable. I needed a place nearby my new home to stay until the contractors connected my water and electric. When I checked in there was only one towel, but the staff immediately took care of it and also fixed the bed sheets that did not fit the mattress. I would stay again if I needed to.

It was ok but it being Covid 19 I think it needed to be much cleaner like shower curtain the microwave was super old stains on walls and carpet.

They called to confirm our arrival and checkin/out was seamless
