Country inn Lampasas

No coffee pots in room. Cleanliness not the best. Lampasas is a nice time. Trouble with lighting. Needs little upgraded. Noisy by busy road.

One word TERRIBLE!

This is a great place to stop in and go view the area and surrounding areas. It’s not a 5-star hotel but let me tell you, the owner and staff are so friendly, helpful and would make sure you were always taken care of. I wish people would rate places on their personal visits and not room quality.

This hotel was absolutely filthy. The TV did not work and had to wait over thirty minutes for it to be fixed. I had requested the ground floor because I am handicapped. The first room they gave me I had to step up 12 inches in order to get up to the room on the ground floor. The room they moved me to was absolutely filthy. This hotel was disgusting. No bottled water in the room, no coffee pot in the room. The beds when you pulled back the sheets the covers were all ripped up and holy and we’re covered with black things don’t know what that was. . The beds were horrible, the upper part of the bed was about 4 inches lower than the foot of the bed. I got up the next morning and saw a bug on the microwave. Dead crickets on the floor and the entire room had not been dusted or cleaned in quite some time. It is my habit when I stay in a motel room to take a bleach cloth and wipe everything down. After wiping down all of the light switches the remote and the tables the cloth was black. They discounted the room $30 but this is by no means a $90 a night hotel it was disgusting and in my opinion even at $60 a night it was $60 overpriced. The room I am staying in tonight is in Plano Texas the room was $68 a night including taxes it has a little kitchenette, a full refrigerator and is very clean I would never stay at the comfort inn in Lampasas again

Someone needs to clean up the dog poop our little dog couldn’t find a place to do her business because there was so much dog poop everywhere. For 2 people we had 1 bath towel & 2 hand towels & 1 wash cloth. There was only a partial roll of toilet paper on the roll with no backup roll.

The gentleman that checked us in was very friendly and willing to work with us regarding late check out if needed. The room was spacious and looked clean. They need new pillows as the ones they have are flat. Need to clean the floors better as after I took a shower and dried my hair, my feet were black on the bottom. Also, they have roaches. If I had seen them when we first went in the room I never would’ve stayed. I went to the bathroom in the middle of the night and there was one on the bathroom door and one on the floor by the toilet. I killed them of course… In the morning there was another one that was bigger in the tub. They also only gave us 2 smaller towels and 1 wash cloth. The towels were hard and scraped my hands when drying them, as well as my whole body after my shower. I will not stay here again. I would rather pay the higher fee to stay at the Best Western on the hill behind this hotel.

towels were stained. tv didn't work, light in room didn't work half the time. room flooded the second night. was supposed to get a refund and didn't receive it...

I canceled trip aweek earlier,but cancelation did nit make it to motel,,amd got charged 79.00 for no 24 hr. Cancelation,,,which sucked,,ilk never use you again and tell everyone i can also.

Walked into the room and noticed a musty smell as well as the sink and restroom were not clean. There was hair in the tub and gunk in the sink. There were crumbs by the table in the front of the door. The blinds did not close properly as well The beds were soft. My sister did notice some small roaches in the bathroom when she got up in the middle of the night.
