"Good value"

Hotel was under renovation. Rooms and hallways looked and smelled very clean and the rooms were comfortable.

Bench in the gym was falling apart. The location was "meh" but the hotel was a good value for exploring the nearby coastal towns.

"Nice hotel...make sure you ask about construction "

We were put on the second floor above where construction was taken place. When we checked in we were not told this and there was no sign of it at that time. We found out by being woken up to pounding below us. We declined housekeeping during our stay. We left the garbage can outside our day. When we returned, we found that our room had been made up. This put us on edge since we declined the service and had the do not disturb sign on our door. I made all of this aware at check out and it was not acknowledged.

"Won't stay there again."

The room was clean and comfortable.

At 8:15 the next morning, I was awoken by cleaning staff who entered my room. Obviously, it was not communicated to them that there was someone staying in that room. Scared the crap out of me! Then, when I was leaving, another cleaning woman asked if I was leaving and watched until I got in the elevator. I felt rushed out.

Everything was great! The shower head was not so great. Water pressure was awesome but the type of shower head not so great. It was laser pointed with high pressure consistency.
