Knights Inn Gallup at 3208 W Hwy 66

No one at front desk at 2:00 pm and waited until 3:00 pm for check-in. No one answered the phones.

Took 15 minutes to get ahold of someone to help us get our room after booking online. It was only 10PM. The room was very run down,stained carpets, no breakfast or coffee in the morning and no one at the front desk at 8 AM.

It was the most disgusting sketchy place the room smelled musty the bathroom shower had mold all around the edges the wallpaper was pealing off the toilet was dirty the carpet was clearly not vacuumed and super dusty the heater/ac was disgustingly dirty dusty and it looked like rodents lived in it the lamps were full of pet hair and there was blood stains on the sheets and cigarette burns the blankets were old and dusty as well all in all the hotel was gross and we had to stay there as we had paid 100 dollars and no refund was available it all night the person on the floor above us was walking and there was a creaking noise a couple times it sounded as if someone was trying to open the door to our room it did not feel like a safe place please save yourself the money get a different place I do not recommend this place

Not up to snuff at all! The staff wasn’t very friendly at all! We were to have a breakfast and he informed us there was coffee only! Not polite at all! Will never go there again!

Booked a room and they closed at 11 and have to jump through hoops to cancel my stay and get a refund

We usually stay in cheaper, old hotels but we will not stay here again. Room was in need of updating and cleaning. The linens were clean but there was something on the wall next to the bed. The couch was a pull out but the mattress was very dirty and no sheets were provided. Given the state of the mattress we choose to leave the pull out pushed in and just have my son sleep on the couch. Room smelled strongly of air freshener with an underlying stink. Shower had great water pressure. Pool was closed with sign on door stating “Pool closed until water clear”. I was also charged $20 when I checked in. I was not notified about the charge but noticed it on my account later that evening. When I called the front desk about it I was told it was a deposit that would be refunded after we checked out and that “all hotels in Gallup charge a deposit.” This is not true, I have stayed in other hotels in Gallup also booked through Hotles.com and haven’t ever been charged a deposit. The charge did not make it past pending on my account so that’s good but it should have been mentioned at check-in at the very least.
