Hotel Lincoln

My room wreaked of chemicals/cleaning supples, and while that may seem to suggest the room was clean, my room was dingy, dark, and worn down. The furniture and bed were horribly uncomfortable. The elevators smelled foul and strangely enough I had dinner at the rooftop restaurant and the food tasted like it had absorbed the foul smell. It was a bizarre twilight zone experience. The hotel is currently operating while being renovated and has very little charm, which is disappointing as it seems like the space has potential. (I went in a newly renovated room and it was soulless).

I was expecting a higher quality hotel for the price we paid.

The problem, is that when my payment was being processed, it didn’t go through on your end, which is not my fault. When the page reloaded, the price was $80 higher, which happens to be the exact amount you pay extra for incidentals. It was bait and switch, and it cost me an extra $80, because I thought I was paying for incidentals which were not included. I am going to write a very negative review of booking.com.

Not much — the room had sufficient space and valet was good.

Cleanliness was poor, the overall hotel was grungy, the elevators were shaky, the room had no working phone, getting a drink or beverage was very inconvenient, no room service and the check in process was slow.

Good location

The room was small, the shower flooded every time it was used, they didnt give us the complimentary waters, they didnt bring us new towels both days and we had to ask for them.

The room was run down even with paint peeling from the walls in some areas. Kind of dingy.
