Hotel Lincoln

My stay was terrible for the price I paid. The room was super old and outdated. The bathroom had no vent fan and had black water spots on ceiling. It had no room comfort, felt dirty and dusty. I paid $550 for one night and expected much more. It felt like a 2 star hotel, will not be staying again.

My room was RIGHT next to elevator -- all night long people were making noise right outside my room -- either standing around waiting for the elevator or coming out of it, partying. Room 810 should not be used for overnight guests. Cold water tap in bathroom sink only produced warm water, no matter long I let it run. Desk lamp bulb burned out (or lamp broken). No fridge, no bottled water provided, despite what the information provided promised. Flat sheet instead of fitted sheet on mattress! Constantly had to tuck it back in, all night long. Got very little sleep either night of my stay.

I arrived to find the boiler was broken and would not be repaired during the time of my reservation. There was no assistance in placing me elsewhere which caused me to scrambe to find an alternate hotel on short notice.

The room was tiny and nothing like the photos - there are renovations going on. We got one of the renovated rooms and it was nothing worth mentioning and almost comically tiny (the toilet paper couldn't be mounted to the wall as I'm sure it would have impeded sitting down). Also, part of the reason we stayed there was for easy access to the J. Parker but it was closed for a private event the one evening we stayed there.

Nothing. I will never stay here again and I will not recommend it to anyone. Room were terrible. Massively over priced for what it was. I have stayed in way better for a fraction of the price.

The staff was competent. The coffee shop in the lobby had good coffee and pastries.

The hotel room was dated, tiny, uncomfortable, noisy and unpleasant. There was no chair or couch. No refrigerator. The desk chair was broken. The air conditioning unit was ridiculously loud. The bed was old and uncomfortable. They didn’t provide enough towels. The shower head was problematic. The restroom in the lobby was hot, dirty and smelly. Long waits for elevators.

Great views of Lincoln Park, the pond, the zoo and Lake Michigan. The bedroom was separate from the living area and there were 2 bathrooms. The bathrooms could of used more light but overall they were so clean and spacious showers. No noise unless the windows were open, but it is an active and vibrant part of the city so it is expected. Eric our front desk associate was the best! The coffee shop was not open or staff in the morning but we found a gem of a restaurant around the corner called Nookies for breakfast. This hotel is my go to for any personal or business trips in the city.

Superb location by Lincoln Park and the lake. Great rooftop.

AC unit was noisy and perhaps old, but can be turned off.
