Red Lion Inn and Suites Everett

My original room had an issue the second night where the key wasn’t working. The manager on duty said that she would change out rooms for me. I waited but nobody came so I took a shower and went to bed. The next morning I asked about it and the man on duty said that my original room was vacant. I explained that I never got my other room and he took care of it but it just shows that there is no communication. Also, I would not call what they offer a continental breakfast. It’s more like cereal and coffee.

Booking should not promote this hotel any more . I just booked because it was listed on your site . I have got room, which was not cleaned and we have been getting urine smell .. there is no option to change the room . We have asked staff on duty .. his name was “ Ali” but he can not help any more .. he has given one as air freshener .. as help .. also breakfast was not good .. they just say “ sorry” for all the incident in morning .. please avoid this hotel in your future booking.

It had no vending machines for drinks so if you wanted even water you had to leave.

I stunk like a skunk. I have no other explanation. The furniture was filthy. Mold all over the bathroom to the point I could smell it. Cigarette burns on floors, actual snot on the wall

I love everything about the hotel

Cleanliness of the room was not the best, but it was quiet and had a good blackout curtain.

Asked to be moved from first room due to unpleasant musty odor, opened the window, however, the window did not have a screen and we were on the first floor, anyone could have stepped through our window. The room was in poor condition.. very used and abused. Our second room was on the third floor and was better, bed was comfortable. Floor was dirty and bathtub was questionable. Staff on site was pleasant and helpful.

Where to I even begin, there is a list so much things that were very concerning & very wrong with this called “hotel”. Firstly it doesn’t hold enough standards to be called a hotel & suites, it felt more like we were in a run down MOTEL off of a raunchy movie. The photos that were provided on booking were from 4years ago apparently & we weren’t aware until our arrival. From the moment we stepped foot out of our vehicle into the parking lot it was already a bit questionable. Upon entering we were not greeted & the check in attendant held little no conversation & little too no communication! We went in prepared to use our debit for our hotel stay payment & a credit card (which was required on site) for initial deposit for room. He just ran everything off of our debit card without even asking or clarifying first. Then had to rerun everything again! That already was a hassle within itself. We then make it upstairs to our room to then not able to enter due to door issues! The attendant wasn’t very much help but rather to make us feel bad as if we were supposed to know how to operate that door! It was more like he was annoyed to have to even walk upstairs to help us with that. When we entered our room it had a strong odor of urine (we later find cat hair on the furniture) so I’m guessing they previously had animals or a cat in there. We only did a quick brief look into our room before just leaving our luggage’s to head to out to dinner. Once we arrived back we then did a more in depth look of our room & found multiple areas of filth & questionable things with our room. The pull out sofa had a ton of cat hair on it the mattress was old & worn. There were no sheets provided to cover it & the one blanket we did find in the drawer had urine spots on it.

I dint like anything about my stay. There was no breakfast. I don't consider stale cereal and old bread breakfast. When I saw the pictures for the hotel I expected the rooms to be clean and comparable to the pictures and the pictures of the breakfast to be comparable. They were nothing alike. There were homeless people wandering in and out in the evenings and getting into the garbage and ashtrays, so the location wasn't the greatest.

The hotel staff was rude and condescending. They were never at the desk watching the doors. Instead the front desk gentleman was walking around at the back of the building outside on his phone all night. The homeless people wandering around inside and outside of the building getting into the garbage and ashtrays. I did not feel safe at all. When we got to our room upon arriving there were condoms on the floor by our beds and hair ties laying on the floor along with wads of hair from previous visitors. There was dirt and used tissues and pieces of wrappers laying all over. The counters were sticky and visibly dirty. One of the beds was broken and tilted so we couldn't even lay on it without rolling to the side. We were told that breakfast was from 6am to 9am. We went down at 7:30 am and there was stale bread by a toaster and stale cereal along with a couple of twinkies and some hostess cupcakes. The so called breakfast was a joke. Our room was not cleaned and we were given no new towels after the first night. One of the employees threw a fit when we left the deadbolt on the door so my husband could get in while I went to the restroom when he left his key card in the room. Instead of politely asking us not to use the deadbolt to prop the door open for 2 minutes the employee flipped out and started yelling at us thatbwere were gonna scratch us the door frame (which was already pretty scratched up and painted poorly). If there were other available options at the time we would have immediately switched to a different hotel when we first arrived and were treated so poorly and seen the filthy room. We checked all of the other hotels in the area for vacancies but they were all sold out. This was the absolute worst experience at a hotel that my husband and i have ever had. We travel quite a bit (at least a dozen times+ a year). We own our own company and would be absolutely ashamed if our employees acted and spoke to customers the way your employees spoke to us.
