Americas Best Value Inn Tahquamenon Country

Room was clean. Bed was comfy, service was nice. Breakfast was to be desired, no cooked meat or eggs. Mostly starch foods. Eggs in Fridge where frozen! Would've been nice to have some kind of fruit.

Food from previous people left in frig. Hair all over bathroom, TV did not work!!! Bathroom sink clogged.. Gross

Check in was at 3:00. We arrived at 3:40 to find that our room was not ready. The woman at the reception desk was Rude and defensive as if it was our fault. We ended up taking a lesser room to accommodate their schedule. No apology was offered for our inconvenience.

This hotel was a bit disappointing. Had used towels from previous customers in the bathroom upon our arrival. TV was non-functional. Couldn't produce a receipt when I checked out. Had to wait for front dedk person, the only person there, while they were out for a smoke. Just a bit disappointing.

Nice stay. We had one small problem which they took care of quickly.

The pool and hot tub should not be in order. I had to throw away our bathing suits because the stench of mildew would not go away even after soaking in vinegar and washing several times.

This is a place in desperate need of upgrades and cleanliness. Staff not friendly, coffee was cold ,breakfast lackluster.

Bed hurt our backs. Cannibus odor throughout. This was supposed to be a non smoking hotel. Only stayed 1of 3 nights because of this making us ill. Management would not refund the last 2 nights. Greatly disappointed that Expedia couldn’t refund our money.

As soon as we got in room a leak coming from the room above started in the bathroom. Called desk and said they would call a maintenance man. After half an hour, we’d heard nothing, and the floor of the bathroom and bathroom ceiling were completely soaked so we had to request a move. We were accommodated but it seemed like they thought we were a big hassle for not waiting around for maintenance. Just a very cheap motel. Towels were paper thin but beds were clean and comfort was acceptable.
