Americas Best Value Inn Tahquamenon Country

Enjoyed this hotel. It is in the middle of no where. Hot tub and pool was great. Air conditioning was a little noisy. I struggled to sleep because of it. The website said it had laundry available to guest but then it’s been broken, so we couldn’t use it. Breakfast was nice.

We tried to check-in around 7 pm but our room wasn’t ready until almost 9 pm. I understood that they were understaffed from housekeeping with some quitting. They couldn’t credit my acct because I pre paid so they offered lunch the next day in town but we were leaving the area. We didn’t eat the breakfast it looked liked it was warmed up food so we just left. The pool had to much chlorine in it plus the kids were jumping in at all sides of the pool and splashing so we just went upstairs to our room. I was really disappointed in this hotel stay especially for spending close to $180 for the night.

Place was terribly short staffed. The staff there were doing their absolute best and should get a raise.

This hotel was dirty and just plain worn out at a very expensive price for the condition it was in.

Need more breakfast choices, no blankets on the beds and the curtains were ripped.

I loved that they have normal sized pillows.

A Great Place to Stay

This property does not have automatic doors for scooters. But if ask people to open the doors for you,they will.

Bed was comfortable, the breakfast was not great, the pool was nice for my three young kids. Only 2 luggage carts. Used one to come in but couldn’t find one to help get bags back to the car when we left.
