"Excellent place to stay if visiting Branson"

Beautiful property inside and out. The place is convenient to all the city attractions. We changed our hotel after almost booking one of the strip, and saw the quality difference. The location is where you want to be for sure. Was our first time in Branson, and so glad I changed the hotel last second to the Chateau. Only issue was a plumbing problem in our room, and we didn’t get the Lake View originally paid for due to a convention going on. My wife and two young boys loved it. Excellent amenities as well.

Have stayed several times in last 30 yrs for business and personal. Always a good experience. This last time in March 26 was a good time. Clean rooms, staff very helpful, food was good, two bars and lots of quiet areas to enjoy a drink. I do recommend highly as it has two pools, coffee-sweet shoppe with danishes and ice cream, play area and things to keep children busy. 4stars only because when we went to eat the host was a little confused on times we could be seated because of low staff and some language barriers, also I asked the maid service to put clean towels in our room while we were gone. Didn’t happen. So really maybe 4.5 stars as I’m being picky. Still love the place.

"Early start"

The hotel is very nice and clean. I think this trip we were there a little bit preseason they were a little short on staff. My biggest frustration with this Resort in general is I think the food is a little bit overpriced for the quality you got even when you factor in the resort. And the drawback of course is it's a bit of a drive to get into town. If you're looking for a little solitude this is the place- if you will be near the action at the downtown area that's a 20-minute Drive.

Our air conditioner didn’t work properly, so our room was very warm on an unseasonably hot day/evening. We were told we had a balcony, but it was basically a ledge with safety railing. You couldn’t even step out on it. Parking fees were not disclosed until AFTER we checked out.

We didn't get to swim because they were cleaning the pool and the room smelled a little musty but it was clean and the bed was comfortable.
