"The best aromatherapy massage"

Just want to recommend Georgetta for the amazing aromatherapy massage she gave me today. It was a birthday present from Julie my daughter in law and Georgetta added in a mini facial as well to celebrate. It was fab Georgetta, thank you!

"Short break at the Olympic Lagoon"

We came for a short break to do a recce before we come back in August with granddaughter for a longer stay. This is a stylish hotel, recently refurbished to a very high standard, our room was well appointed and I loved the makeup/ hair area, so much better than utilising the surfaces around the sinks. Food and drinks were very good, and the staff were excellent. We had an issue with our tv in the room and it was sorted really quickly. Good entertainment, the Queen/Bon Jovi tribute were superb! We are looking forward to returning. Just 2 criticisms - - waiter service for drinks round the pools would have been nice - the toilets for the pool area were dreadful, appreciate that you are getting numerous wet bodies in and out but the floor was lethal and the toilet seats were always wet, it smelt bad, and there were only 2 cubicles in the ladies, hardly adequate. Never saw anyone cleaning them. Preferred to dry off and use one of the nice ones in the main hotel.

"Holiday at paphos"

Lovely week at the hotel. Bhem our chambermaid did an excellent job. Had an ongoing issue with the toilet but this was sorted out quickly on a daily basis. All the waiting staff deserve a special mention they all work exceptionally hard and always with a smile

"Brilliant spa and treatment"

Had a deep tissue massage with Georgetta at the spa and it was great. She is very experienced and made me feel relaxed throughout the treatment. The massage helped relieve a lot of tension and I left feeling brilliant. Would definitely come back again and would highly recommend her and the facilities.

"A Special Occasion That Didn’t Go as Planned at a Hotel We Once Loved"

We had stayed at Olympic Lagoon Paphos more than five times previously and loved the resort enough to choose it as the venue for our wedding. We booked directly with Kanika because we trusted the brand and expected an experience centred around hospitality, family and special occasions. Our wedding party consisted of 11 guests, with six family members booking Olympic Lagoon specifically so we could spend quality time together before the wedding and enjoy a family holiday around one of the most important moments of our lives. The bride’s parents, brother and sister-in-law had all booked over a year in advance for exactly this reason. Less than one week before departure, they were informed their rooms were unavailable due to overbooking and were moved to the Amavi. Whilst some may see this as an upgrade on paper, for us it completely changed the holiday we had planned. The most frustrating part was that both hotels operate under the same brand, yet there appeared to be no flexibility to help keep families together during such an important occasion. Despite originally booking Olympic Lagoon, our family could not use the resort facilities, restaurants or evening entertainment. Equally, we could not simply use facilities at the Amavi without additional expense. This left us in a situation where immediate family members who had booked the same hotel for our wedding effectively became separated for much of the holiday. Instead of spending the days before our wedding together around the resort, sharing meals and enjoying evenings as a family, we found ourselves leaving the hotels and paying for restaurants and bars in Paphos simply so we could spend time together. One evening our family came to visit us at Olympic Lagoon and, despite explaining the circumstances, were refused service because they did not have wristbands. That moment probably summed up the experience best — close family members who had booked to celebrate our wedding alongside us were treated as though they were strangers. What made this particularly difficult was sitting in the evenings and seeing larger wedding groups enjoying time together around the resort while we could not even share a drink with immediate family members without leaving the hotel complex. Additionally, two more of our wedding guests had specifically booked a superior room within the Fisherman’s Village adults-only wing, paying extra for both the exclusivity of the area and the room type advertised. After arriving at the hotel in the early evening, they were advised that no rooms of the category booked were available and they would instead be placed elsewhere. The room allocated had twin beds rather than the bed type booked although they retained access to the adults-only pool facilities. They were offered the opportunity to move rooms later in the stay, however having already unpacked, they declined as they did not want to spend part of an already short holiday moving rooms and losing more time they should have been enjoying. Our own arrival experience also felt underwhelming considering we had booked both accommodation and the wedding directly with Kanika. We appreciate the wedding team were supporting another wedding on the day we arrived, however there did not appear to be an alternative process in place for arriving wedding couples. Check-in felt no different from a standard arrival and there was little guidance around what happened next. We found ourselves regularly chasing information and asking questions that we expected would already have been covered. Simple things became unnecessarily stressful. We arrived with a wedding dress packed into a suitcase and had no idea what we were supposed to do with it, where it should be stored or who we needed to speak to. None of these were huge issues individually, but collectively it often felt like we were managing the process ourselves rather than being guided through it. The morning of the wedding added further avoidable stress. We had requested an early room clean so the bridal party could get ready comfortably. We purposely left early for breakfast to give housekeeping plenty of time, however by 09:00 the room had still not been serviced and we had to chase reception again. To housekeeping’s credit, they responded quickly afterwards, but it was an unnecessary stress on a day where emotions are already high. There were positives. Stella and her team around the Serenity Pool consistently provided excellent service throughout the stay and were one of the highlights of the holiday. Staff in certain areas genuinely cared and worked hard, and we do want to recognise those positive interactions. Hotels face operational issues and things do occasionally go wrong. What disappointed us most was that throughout the experience there never seemed to be much flexibility, communication or personalisation around what should have been one of the most important occasions of our lives. We chose Olympic Lagoon because we loved it. We trusted Kanika with our wedding because previous experiences gave us confidence in the hospitality and guest experience.

"Fantastic experience"

Hotel and service was exceptional. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room attendant Bhem Bahadux went above and beyond always making sure that our room was tidy and fully stocked.

"Amazing massage"

I had an Indian head and back massage in the Spa. Verizon was my masseuse. She was amazing I would highly recommend her if you visit the spa. She was very friendly and explained everything before hand. Probably one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Thank you:
