Helpful and nice staff, great all inclusive experience, great location. The food was very good thought the day. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The kids clubs are very nice. The evening shows were wonderful.

For visitors with children - the Italian restaurant is only for 18+. The American diner is nice, but the burgers were not good. We could only reserve one special restaurant, the other one was fully booked. The indoor pool was not heated, and the water were too cold for us to enter.

Having had a 2 week holiday with Olympic Lagoon hotel Cyprus we have to say we cannot fault it! Staff food and hotel superb, we have to say a big shout out to Carmen for a superb cleaning service everyday she worked , bless her, above and beyond, very professional and more importantly to me, very friendly, lovely lady. Everything was great: the food, the facilities, the service was particularly friendly and welcoming. Only slight negative would be perhaps not quite enough for kids poolside or more broadly. While the soft play was a good idea, we would have wanted to just do it for a couple of hours supervised by us (as adults). Overall though, we would definitely come back, and loved our stay.

This hotel is simply amazing! From the start to the finish of our holiday; it was great! The main buffet restaurant has a wide selection of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The cuisines changed each evening so you didn’t feel like it was the same food all the time. The Indian night was our favourite! The breakfast was lovely, you could also order poached eggs, pancakes etc to your table along with lattes etc. There are al carte restaurants that you can book via the app. We went to the Seven Orchids restaurant, the menu had a good choice of food and the meal was delicious. The tables are outside so a little chilly but they had heaters. We didn’t use the Italian as this is adults only and the captains deck menu wasn’t to our taste. The American Diner was very good too, the menu changes for lunch and dinner. The food in there is made to order which is included in the all inclusive. The pools were great; colder as it was the start of May we were there but the kids pool was heating up. There are plenty of sunbeds around all the pools and the grass area. A real Plus of this hotel is that you get allocated sun beds on the day you arrive; the only downside is there wasn’t much to choose from as other guests already had them booked. You book these at the pool desk, where you also get the towels. We changed our towels daily. The room was cleaned every single day, fresh towels, beds made. They also refill the mini bar, which has soft drinks & water. Each evening the staff came around at 6:30ish to offer clean towels and chocolates; which was a real treat for our son! The evening entertainment was very good; the theatre is indoors and got busy but we always managed to get a seat. The shows started at 9:30 and lasted around 45 mins. The drinks selection was very good, nice cocktails; even spicy margs! The staff were really accommodating and made anything you asked them too. My favourite thing was the snackarie, this was open 10:30 - 6:30. Yolanda who worked there was amazing! She made THE BEST iced caramel latte. They also had pizza, fresh made salads and sandwiches. Brownies, mini donuts, cookies, ice cream. There are bikes to hire from the hotel (only adult bikes) and an outdoor tennis court, you can hire the rackets from the gym (free) and book these court. There is also a small indoor pool. The hotel is around 15 min walk along the sea front to the main area which had various shops and restaurants. Perhaps a further 5 mins to the harbour. Overall we had a great time and would 100% recommend this hotel.

I slept awkwardly on the first night and woke up with a sore neck. So booked a scalp and back massage at the wellness spa. A lovely lady called Sita was so good that I drifted off to sleep with the pain in my neck a distant memory. Highly recommend.

Had a weeks holiday here in April which included our daughters wedding. Perfect wedding venue, everything was arranged perfectly. I did have a few issues with my room 3114, from the time I arrived to the day I left there was an awful smell in the toilet/shower room, I did report to reception a couple of times, but it they never got rid of the smell, the cleaner did give me a bottle of air freshener which did help a bit but only masked the smell for a while. I also had a bit of an issue with the blackout blinds, sometimes they wouldn’t close and on another occasion wouldn’t open. I thought the food in all areas was very good, not always hot but plenty of choice. The pool area was really nice, pool was really cold though, ok was you braved getting in. There were 7 of us so the pool allocation service worked well and we were seated together. Reading other reviews I think my room issues weren’t too bad. We did have the fire alarm go off at 3.30am and again an hour later on our second night which was awful because it was so loud. I did go to reception to see what was happening and the guy on reception was very embarrassed, he said “he didn’t know how to turn it off because it was a new system” and was trying to get through to a technician who, strangely at that time of the morning wasn’t answering, probably fast asleep.

We felt like we were in a wedding factory! There was at least one wedding every day, sometimes two and that’s low season. I dread to think what it’s like in high season. Because of the numerous weddings there were a number of large groups that would take over the pool areas, bar areas, restaurants etc. it certainly didn’t help to create a relaxing holiday. The refurbishment of the hotel is great (if you squint and do not look too closely), the concept is good but unfortunately a snagging list so long it will take ages to complete (if they even bother!). Our room was spacious but had been rushed to be completed, when we checked in there was plaster dust still on the floor, the skirting was half fitted and the door strip between the dressing area and the bathroom was coming away causing a tripping hazard. The sunbed booking system is good in theory but troublesome in practice, as I mentioned earlier, large wedding groups want to be sat together, if you are placed near them it’s not relaxing at all, they are shouting over you, gradually encroach on your space and it’s not that easy to just move location. Bar service was slow, you could not order more than two drinks at the bar, so if you are a family you had to wait for table service or queue at the bar with family members. I could not fault the food, even the buffet offering was exceptional. The Italian restaurant is a must if you enjoy fine dining. Overall the hotel is ok, I would not return but we made the most of the break.
