The staff were friendly and welcoming. The dinner we had and the breakfasts were all great. Plenty of parking

Need to book restaurant to guarantee an evening meal. We were penalised by the hotel for not using their website to book directly, but we would not have know about this hotel if it were not for booking.com. We had to pay for breakfast which was an option we chose but would have had that for free if booked direct. We were also charged an automatic service charge on top of the price.

The hotel is a hidden gem..it is as like a jewlery box - nice from outside and outstanding inside. An eclectic style of interiors, an endless storytelling which goes through the whole property and beyond, great selection of wine and good food. I booked for one night and extended for the second one. Each room has got its own style. The team is attentive to your needs and responsive. You can really feel the love and passion invested into the hotel. That s a boutique hotel. The quitness of surrounding nature and squirrels instead of noisy cars of the big cities. Loved it.

Mooi pand , sfeervol en ruime parkeergelegenheid en als je een winstdaling route wil doen, kun je een soort voucher paspoort krijgen van het hotel met veel gratis leuke wijn en kaastastjngs erin dat was top!

Ontzettend gehorig, klein bed, restaurant en bar gesloten, herhaaldelijk geen reactie op e-mails, na 19.00 niemand meer bereikbaar tenzij ‘nood’

We spent one night at Merrill House. All areas look the same as shown online, amazingly decorated with a charming tone and plenty attractive art pieces displayed. The room was in good condition (we stayed in The Parisian Room), a beautiful guest room. Room amenities could be more generous and in better quality considering the brand positioning of the hotel and the price paid. The French restaurant is exceptional, we had a fantastic and definitely enjoyable dinner. Superb! The freshly baked and made breakfast was good too. We understand it is a boutique hotel, yet we found its difficult to look for a staff for assistance. We had a truly wonderful stay experience in this old mansion.
