Beautifully restored home with all modern comfort. Be sure to book a dinner at the bistro, it is the high light of our stay.

Easy and accessible hotel with thoughtful room amenities - from snacks to towel heaters and robes. Staff were really friendly. I also got the vibe that this was a place made by the county rather than some one from outside profiting off the county, which is important to me.

I wish there was a do not disturb as my room was cleaned when I was there for just two nights and I'd rather have not had that.

Très belle maison avec décor original. Passeport des vignobles très utile pour connaître les adresses à visiter. Recommandations d’itinéraires dans la région très utile aussi.

On avait une petite chambre avec un coté du lit collé au mur. Pas très commode quand on est 2 dans le lit et que le partenaire du coté du mur veut se lever la nuit !

Our stay at Merrill house was lovely. The staff are friendly and very helpful. There is good parking at the back of the inn. We had a smaller room and bed was slightly soft for our liking, but we slept well. We had a delicious dinner in the dining room and I recommend if you are staying there to book at least one night for dinner. There is a lovely bar downstairs where residence of the Inn can have a drink before dinner. Good choice of wines and spirits. Overall, a wonderful stay

Breakfast was great

Wir mussten 45min auf unser Frühstück warten. Andere Gäste mussten im nicht geheizten Wintergarten frühstücken, weil nicht ausreichend Platz war. Das Zimmer war "kompakt". Zum Glück waren wir nur eine Nacht vor Ort.

Historic property with nice gardens. Location is excellent. Very close to downtown Picton and everything it has to offer. On site restaurant is excellent if looking for a fine dining experience. $$$$. Friendly staff. Room was clean.

Lack of on-site concierge. Only on site limited hours during our stay. We only saw someone once and that was at check in. Used phone number given (sent text) to request an iron and never received a response so cancelled request and did without. For money spent we felt room was plainly decorated and the two chairs in room were quite uncomfortable. Lack of plugs in room for charging devices. Not really suitable for anyone who may have a problem with stairs if not staying on first floor. Bathroom was nice but quite small.
