Hampton Inn Hazleton

This inn has lovely staff and an admirable location overlooking the beautiful Cunnyam (spelling?) Vallley. Unfortunately, only those willing to pay a premium will have a king bed room overlooking the valley. Others will make do with a room overlooking the parking lot - pity. The room we were in was clean and well maintained - but the layout with the bathroom sliding (yuck) door openinf into the comfy bed is poor. The bathroom door should open onto the hallway. The included bf was adequate and the coffee good. Parking good but a pathway over the cinder rock garden would be a plus. A storm grating nearby has openings much too large for small feet and heels! Will stay again.

Close to highway and restaurant. Great view!

I was very impressed by the hotel staff at this hotel. Warmly welcomed at the front desk upon arrival and Rochelle and Crystal st breakfast were amazing and very friendly. This hotel is conveniently located along I-81 and near I-80 with a connecting restaurant.

This hotel is very clean and modern. The staff is exceptionally helpful with anything that you need. We had reserved 13 rooms for a wedding on 10/21/23 and the staff was very helpful and courteous. I would definitely stay there again! Our block of rooms were on the Valley side of the hotel and the view was so pretty during leaf season. Special thanks to Carole in reservations, Meghan & Todd front desk and Teri in housekeeping.

Front desk staff was friendly and gave an excellent dinner suggestion. Hotel was clean. Free parking. Close to the interstate without getting a lot of interstate noise. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Extra blanket in the closet. Would stay here again.

I’ve been staying at this hotel once a year since 2003. The hotel has always stayed updated, This year i found the mattresses to sag a little. At $204.00 a night, everything should be perfect in my mind. The highlight to this hotel is “The Top of the 80s” restaurant that was there I’m sure long before the hotel. Although the restaurant is very dated, it has been well maintained and the dining experience is exceptional. The menu is varied, but many of the items on the menu are items you seldom see in the more contemporary restaurants. For Example: Liver and Onions is without question the best I’ve ever had. The sliced Turkey and Gravy is real turkey breast versus canned turkey. Overall the dining staff is young and our waitress was in college. With that said, whoever does the training knows what they’re doing. The pricing in the restaurant is more than fair. With white linens and quality of food, i could have expected $10.00 to $20.00 more in pricing The hotel is clean and in good condition, but the independent restaurant attached makes the stay. The cocktails are also reasonably priced. I will continue staying at this hotel.

Rooms are nice, clean and well maintained. My only negative issue with the room is the a/c didn’t seem to have a switch to maintain constant fan. I may have missed it if it did. Therefore the a/c when cycling on and off during the night was somewhat disruptive. All else was terrific with the one exception that management allows smokers, employees and presumably guests, to stand outside the side door to the parking area. Therefore it’s a bit like walking a smoke gauntlet to one’s car if you use that entrance .

Front desk staff, breakfast attendant was fabulous, coffee & tea service along with fresh seasonal fruits availability was excellent. Room was comfortable, heat and AC nicely adaptable to outdoor temps. Overall good stay for purpose of attending our son’s wedding!

I booked this hotel as my wife and I needed a getaway from the Jobs. I was super impressed by the pictures that they had of the beautiful views. Scott from the hotel called me and said that the room that I booked was not available. I asked him to try and put me in a room with the view. He did not disappoint at all. I had a room on the third floor away from the elevator with an awesome view you could look at for hours. With a welcome message on the TV for me. The room was clean, comfortable and so quiet you could her a pin drop. Comfortable beds a great desk to work at an numerous USB chargers in the room and a mini fridge for my drinks. The next morning we went for coffee in the lobby and checked out breakfast. Plenty of hot coffee and a nice breakfast of hot and cold Items. The Staff were excellent with making sure everything was stocked and that the guest had a great experience. This included the children as they had coloring books and other little things for the younger guest. I was very impressed with the Staff at this location to and watched during my stay. The attention to detail was impeccable. The votive candles on the the tables in the evening in the main lobby area. Helping disabled guest with simple things. answering questions politely.
