The St. Regis Hotel

We sailed to Vancouver after a transpacific cruise and wanted a hotel close to Canada place. With penty of hotels to choose from (and watching a ton of YouTube videos) we decided on St Regis for it's charm and location. I use a CPAP machine and so chose a smart room with two double beds. The room was very tastefully designed and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The location enabled us to walk everywhere. Special shout out to Simson who looked after us very well.

Location of the hotel is perfect for getting around the whole city, right by the metro and walking distance from tons of options. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved the breakfast and staff, Durango, Nimali, and Anita all were wonderful to start off the day with. Would definitely stay here again!

The location was just what we needed. After flying into YVR, we took the Canada Line to City Center and then had a short walk to the hotel. The next morning we had a 10 minute walk to the Terminal to board our ship. The one issue was the elevator was out of order, but everyone was very responsive and helped with our baggage. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the french toiletries were heavenly, the cook to order breakfast really tasty, and the service in the dining room was top notch. It is downtown, so will hear traffic a bit, but nothing to keep you up. Overall very pleased staying here.

I was staying alone, and after not having enough to eat at breakfast on the first day, I negotiated with the staff to get an extra meal. The next two mornings, my breakfasts were very plentiful, and I was very satisfied.

The hotel room was decorated very nicely. It had a full bath and plenty of room. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel itself is located about 1/2 mile from the cruise port and that’s why we chose it. The breakfast that came with our room was delicious both times we ate there. Plenty of food for me. All the staff were outstanding. Everyone was courteous and very helpful. I highly recommend staying here in the beautiful city of Vancouver.
