The views from window were great, privacy was brilliant , peaceful and quiet, perfect place for people who don’t want to be bothered by any one , have stay a few times now and will stay again

Loved the grounds of the property, you could walk to the lake and the views were phenomenal! Our room was gorgeous with fantastic views as well. Clean and comfortable with lots of space, bed was very comfy, plenty of plugs and storage around the room. Bathroom was spacious and comfortable as well

The property is a good 25 ish minute walk to Ambleside, the walk is nice and I actually don’t mind having the little walk at all to be able to have such a view however some of the walk we had to do on Road with no path, this is the only we we could find to get into the town and it felt a bit unsafe at night coming back from the pubs, we ended up getting taxis back which were very cheap on the Uber app so I’d recommend that if you’re coming back at night!
