The room and facilities were very good, the location and views outstanding.

Great location, very peaceful area, beautiful surroundings and views from the room, easy access to town, great local walks.

The bed mattress was too soft.

Loved the location, the lodge, the freedom for the dog to run around and the peace and quiet. Easy to park the car close by, the overflow carpark is best for parking for the lodges, so easy access to bring the required bed etc for the dog.

Wasn't sure whether there was breakfast available. On reading the details from the QR code in the room, locations recommended but not sure whether dog friendly, would be a great addition to information.

Very cozy room, nice staff, splendid view around the property. Overall a very comfortable stay and a lovely place to dry off and relax between hikes.

As a non-driving guest, the property was a little intimidating to come and go from, as there is no footpath. One must walk along the road carefully.

location, room and view

Location is just beside the lake and provides a very attracting view. There is a common hall that one can enjoy for meet and spendimg time together. There are tea cofee arrangememt in that hall. Tbere is a couple of free car charging points

bit difficult to find the main building .Needs more signlosting No food /snack facility.. Rooms window curtain was not sufficient to maintain privacy.

Very quiet, peaceful setting in the countryside, but only a short drive from Ambleside where shops and restaurants are available, and easy access to main roads to explore other parts of the Lake District. Seemed like there were also some walking paths directly from the accommodation. Didn't meet any of the staff in person, but Lisa at the reception was very friendly and responsive to all our needs.

The beds were far too soft for all of us, so we didn't sleep comfortably, and one member of our party even decided to sleep on the floor instead.
