Grand Hotel Sunderland

The location was very good and the rooms were very spacious and nicely decorated.

The staff upon arrival wasn't helpful, I was given wrong information about accessing the pool facilities. We had young children and wanted to stay together but ended up being split at the two ends of the long corridor. What we found out in the morning could have been avoided as the family room had a sofa bed that we could have used and be more comfortable. Whole Experian e with the bedrooms and accessing pool made me feel disappointed Our bathroom hasn't been cleaned properly, the floor wasn't cleaned properly and I found a used razor blade behind the cups.

The pillows were very hard and comfortable

Check in smooth and efficient. Room was spacious with plenty of storage, good tv, good clean bathroom, comfortable spacious bed and generally all round comfortable. Location directly opposite sea front and bus services if required on the doorstep.

For the price paid couldn't fault at all. Breakfast and snacks a bit pricey for us but didn't use anyway.
