Stayed here for an event at The Stadium of Light. Staff were welcoming. Check in was quick and everything explained to us. Room was amazing with a sea view. The largest hotel room I have ever stayed in. Bed was comfortable as was the temperature of the room. Had a lovely evening meal and breakfast. Good value for money.

Nothing. The exterior is misleading, looks a bit dated, but inside it is lovely and the staff are friendly and helpful.

"Clean & comfortable"

Hotel was clean & comfortable staff were polite Breakfast was buffet style & delicious

Felt the room was a little dated unless that was the vibe they were going for, ironing board had a mark on it iron did what it was supposed to but did leak water. Didn't have chance to sample everything the hotel had to offer, due to the fact it was a one night stay but we needed to vacate room by 10am also, we could have left later but would have had to pay more to do this. Was a bit over priced for one night but due to catering for people who wanted to attend the concert at the stadium everyone will have been charging extra.

"Beautiful location for an overnight stay."

Beautiful location & very helpful staff

Our room was large & had a sea view which was lovely. However I suspect that some of the rooms haven’t been refurbished since the smoking ban and every time we entered the room all we could smell was stale smoke. As non smokers it was very noticeable.
