Sheraton Kauai Coconut Beach Resort

Great staff and modern hotel with good amenities. We loved the pool and the cabana, and balconies on each room made enjoying the ocean view easier. Clean rooms, easy parking and good activities at the hotel.

The beach in front of the hotel is beautiful but not safe for swim due to undertow.

Our 10 day stay at the Sheraton was fantastic. The 2 queen oceanfront worked out well for us. It will be even better when the king oceanfront rooms are renovated. Front desk staff to include Cedric and Vergie were always willing to help out and solve minor problems efficiently and to our satisfaction. The whole valet team helped a great deal with my husband’s wheelchair both storing it and loading it in the car. Best of all was the great work of housekeeping - Ms. Nidia deserves a raise. Also, grateful to the coffee team at Starbucks-they delivered with a smile. We enjoyed our time at this lovely, well-run Sheraton and will be back!!

Our “garden view” room was more a view of the storage room. Should have asked for a different room.

Nice room with a views of the pool and ocean. Billiards, Foosball, Darts, Shuffle board and electronic games for the kids. Very clean, the pool area has couches to curl up on, beautiful pool, and very friendly staff.

The property has a great location in Kapaa. The room was clean though a bit dated. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. It felt a bit pricy for what it was, however, I’d stay again for a better rate

I would not really recommend it, as I wouldn't even plan to stay there on my next visit. I was choosing between this hotel and a few others for my stay and regretted it the moment I arrived. The hotel is dated and needs some TLC. The pictures oversell the hotel, and make it look bigger and more beautiful than it really is. The location is not ideal, and the beach is VERY lackluster. It feels more like a Courtyard Resort than what I consider a Sheraton. The resort fee is by no means worth it, neither is the cost of the hotel. The standard "balcony" is sooo small and basically unusable. Very disappointed.

Die Poollandschaft war ok, auch die Poolbar. Im Nahe gelegenen Kapaa konnte man verschiedene Restaurants finden- per Auto oder mit einer halben Stunde den Beachwalk entlang.

Von einem Marriott Hotel hätte ich in der Ausstattung mehr erwartet. Sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Die aircondition sehr laut ( auf Rückfrage: die sind alle so) es wird mit Lage am Meer geworben, aber Baden gehen kann man nicht , da direkt nach dem Strand ein Riff im Wasser losgeht. Das Frühstück für 39 USD war etwas dürftig. Erschreckend, dass in der heutigen Zeit alle Getränke in Plasticbechern gereicht wurden. Zuviel Müll.
