Tropicana Atlantic City – A Caesars Rewards Destination

Haven't been here in a while Great upgrade didnt have to leave loved it looking forward to book next trip in a month the restaurant we ate at was delicious the shopping stores where also great found items haven't seen anyone with I love to shop and eat and relax didnt get chance to go to pool but will be sure to do that next visit

at Night Review: I’ve been going to Atlantic City for years, and Tropicana has seriously gone downhill at night. There are people begging for money who follow you around the casino floor, and management does absolutely nothing about it. I also saw multiple prostitutes walking around openly, plus homeless people wandering inside the casino. There is almost no visible security presence, and it feels completely unmonitored. Players were drinking to the point of being extremely drunk and still allowed to gamble with no oversight. This used to be a great casino, but the nightlife atmosphere has become chaotic and unsafe. Tropicana needs to clean up the casino floor, increase security, and start enforcing basic rules again.

Where do I even start. Getting to check-in from the self parking was the equivalent of finding the exit in a corn maze. Once you check in, the lady abruptly hands you the keys and gives no directions to which of the four towers you are in. The original room we were given was in the Chelsea tower on the 17th floor, after weaving through many hallways, escalators and elevators, our room was decorated in 1970s decor and the carpet had never been cleaned. It was a HARD NO! Found our way back to the desk and put us in a newer tower for another $40 which we gladly paid. The room was nicer, but the walls were thin and that's all I need to say, the bathroom was new but they didn't seal the shower doors and water leaked all over the bathroom floor. The bed was comfortable but the same OLD. filthy carpet. The casino was nice, lots of shops, but finding your way around was a JOKE. Limited directions available to find your way around and get yourself out of this hell hole. HELL will freeze over before we make our way back to Atlantic City, much less the Tropicana!

Between the random homeless constantly needing kicking out, the sleeping people in the hallways and the rude as hell check in staff/consierge yeah sure I’d recommend it… Holes in the walls, covered in tape , peeling wallpaper, housekeeping just skipped over our room … I’m all set.

I just stayed at the Tropicana for a conference and it started poorly, went poorly and ended poorly. The staff was dismissive and rude upon check-in. After checking in, I then got stuck in an elevator. The emergency phone was missing from the elevator, the alarm did not alert anyone. After waiting ten minutes we eventually pried the doors open and climbed out into the lobby. Next, I was out all day at the conference, came back and was locked out of my room. I felt like I walked to another hotel to get to the lobby as the lobby in my tower was closed. I was informed I owed 100+ dollars on the room even though it was paid by my organization and I had put down the required 150$ security deposit upon check-in. My credit cards were in my locked room as I did not want to carry them to the conference. I was not allowed to get into my room to get them! I called our organization's administrator who was also at the conference. She was told they charged us the wrong convention rate and I owed more for "incidentals and security." No one else in my group was charged. Once again the staff was rude and dismissive with no clear answers. I was made to feel like a compete deadbeat. My administrator paid the money so my belongings would no longer be held hostage but planned on handling it later with management. This situation took nearly two hours to get me back into my room. After checking out and heading to the parking garage, I was presented with a long line of disgruntled people waiting for one elevator as the other three were broken. Several individuals decided to take the stairs but later came back sweaty and more disgruntled as the stairs led to no where. I eventually got into a crowded, barely functioning elevator and got to my car. I've never been happier to leave a location. Lastly, the hotel and casino itself was dirty, rundown and looks like it hasn't been updated in 20+ years. Do yourself a favor and find another place to stay in AC.

Speaking only of the Chelsea tower, I do not recommend staying here. The rooms are outdated and in need of many repairs. The wallpaper was peeling from the walls. The carpets are old and dirty. The bathroom has no amenities. I was given only 2 towels. The shower doesn't have hot water, it was lukewarm and no door to capture heat. Very cold and uncomfortable. There was a mini-fridge but the temperature dial was broken off. The air/heat is also old and gross. The room is spacious and very quiet, which is why it got a 3 rating. The bed was also not horrible. The tower is removed from the rest of the casino, with very long walkways. There is no security and it seems very sketchy and unsafe for single travelers. The buttons on the elevator don't light up so you don't know if it works.

We had an issue with our intoal room. Upon approaching Angela at the front desk she was such a pleasant guest assistant. She offered a solution to the issue with our room..She was accommodating and made the transition easy..I highly recommend her for promotion as she truly maneuvered like top executive. Had a very nice time. Lots of choices for games and places to eat. Always exceptional breakfast at Hash a GoGo restaurant. The Tropicana was decorated beautifully for the holidays.

Parking and Valet was over crowded and lines for the elevator were long. This is the first time experiencing this. I have stayed at this hotel 4 times.

Horrible your casino are so tight I never been to a casino so bad in my life I stayed the night. A lot of hidden fees and pay to park. I lost 350 dollars in the machine with nothing in return. Rooms need updated
