Tropicana Atlantic City – A Caesars Rewards Destination

Ok. I was comped the room and it was fine. I didn't spend much time in it but the TV only played "a Christmas story". However it was Christmas so I guess it was ok

So came in everything was fine they told me to park at the self park side because my room was on the Havana side which was actually more convenient. Next morning I noticed my car was broken into and ransacked they broke the handle to my benz and apparently Jimmy’d the car to get in they stole over 3000.00 worth of clothes from the trunk. I usually take all valuable out the car when traveling up this way. I just forgot to take it all out. I go to security to create report then to front desk to ask for an extension of the room to 6 or 7 pm no empathy at all they said the best they could do was 4pm. I explained the circumstances and had to wait to get the report from security and was timing a flight from Maryland the still didn’t accommodate. Mind you the place is empty maybe 30% occupancy and that’s a stretch. Pricing was low and I considered getting another night but out of principle just couldn’t see myself doing it. The front desk was adamant about not accommodating and really didn’t care my car was broken into . Not one sorry or any type of concern. It must happen often. The manager Luke was just aloof and had no interest in making sure I was taken care of.

This is our 3rd or 4th stay at the Tropicana over the years and we always enjoy the property. I was concerned because some reviews say its tattered and needs updating and we found that to be far from reality. In fact the property looked spiffed up, floors in the Quarter were so shiny! Our room was quite nice and spacious. updated bathroom. So many wonderful restaurants from in a wide range of prices. Felt safe walking back through the Quarter late at night although maybe a guard in that stretch would be nice. So many great slots. I'm gluten free and had lots of eating options although I'd love a place that offered gluten free bread for sandwiches for a light lunch. Great work Trop and keep it up! We'll be back soon I'm sure

Had a great experience with Kyle at the front desk! He was very professional and very helpful. We booked a last minute room and it was room assigned on arrival. He let us know that the place was full but he was going to find a way to get us a room and he delivered! I’ve stayed at Trop many times and have never had better service than what Kyle gave us!

The heat was bad room stayed cool couldn't get comfortable in the room . My wife was tried so she said only one night we just stay in bed under the covers...smh

Here it is December 8th. We stayed on November 1st for the Tim McGraw concert. We had stayed at the Trop multiple times in the past. My wife and I left the hotel room around 6pm for the concert and arrived back to the room around midnight and our door was partially opened. I checked the room to make sure know one was in the room and did a quick glance to make sure our suitcases were there. Then we went to sleep. The next morning when we were packing we noticed that my Prescription Meta glasses were not inside my charging case, a pair of sweat pants, and my wife's divers license and our sons debt card were all gone. We went to check out and filed a report with the security dept. I have been calling every week to see what is going on with the investigation and all I keep getting is the run around. I haven't gotten a formal email or phone call from anyone. They keep telling me I will get a call about the report. Its been over 30 days. This is a felony charge... Those glasses cost me over $1,100. Forget the fact that these items were stolen... how was my hotel door open? There has been no feeling of concern for my stolen items or for the safety of their guest. This will be the last time I EVER stay at the Trop

My family booked a stay on Monday through Sunday in adjoining rooms. Because our rooms are not cleaned, I called housekeeping to ask for toilet paper for both rooms. They only brought 1 roll for 6 people staying an additional 3 days. We've had to empty our trash in the room daily. I have concert tickets for a show at Ceasar's Saturday night. I called guest services to inquire about a shuttle. I was told there is a shuttle, but there is no schedule. The Tropicana employee actually told me I would just have to go outside and kwait for the shuttle to come. I know staffing is tough now. The staff they do have should be re-trained to maintain business and guest services while they are short staffed.

All was good . The room was clean and was supplied well . The casino is very smoky and the security is not enforcing the no smoking policy

My husband and I decided to go away for Thanksgiving. I normally cook for three generations, but I wanted a break. The hotel is beautiful at The Tropicana you don't have to go out, if you don't want to. Perry's Pizza was delicious. We had Thanksgiving dinner at Carmines . We had breakfast at The Gilchrist. I played Pacman at The Family Fun Station.
