Tropicana Atlantic City – A Caesars Rewards Destination

Was a fantastic experience doing the AC escape room, having wonderful dinners, and everything!!! Had a wonderful dinner at PF Changs and Cuba Libre for my Aunt’s birthday!!!!

Great hotel and casino located at the south end of AC. Found the room to be comfortable and clean. The hotel and casino staff are friendly and helpful. We took advantage of a great week day room rate. Enjoyed the atmosphere of the Havana Tower. Plenty of restaurants and bars for all types throughout the huge complex. "Happy Hour' is featured by a "bar crawl,"" of almost all the restaurants, with discounted drinks and food. Great for a quick getaway! And of course the casino!

My husband and I needed a vacation after the holidays. So we decided to go to Atlantic City for 3 nights. We try every year to go once or twice. We love the winter time because its nice and quiet during the week. Even though cold, we bundle up and go on the boardwalk or take the jitney to the other casinos. NOTE: If you are 62 or over you can buy jitney tickets for 75 cents. As usual, we always go to tropicana. This year we were made to feel so special. Rabiya who checked us in greeted us like old friends and family. Her smile was contagiuous. Rabiya made our stay a rewarding experience along with the doormen and bellhops. We will be back again! The lack of simple things, toilet paper, tissues, dirty, laundry bags! The room was not what I requested, and they were having problems, but I was handicapped to be out a reading machine, and they gave me a king size bed to sleep with my daughter, which was very uncomfortable for her to sleep and also for me I was totally exhausted for two days. I’m not breathing well. I wish it would be like it used to be very accommodating. Like I said I know you had problems in Tower. But hopefully I will be back.

My experience wasn’t that good this time everything seems to go wrong. I didn’t receive any slot play. I had to keep repeating the same thing over and over. My vacation sucks this time I was supposed to be getting a call back. No one never called. I’ll talk to you about five supervisors.

We stayed in the Chelsea Towers, which is the refurbished Chelsea hotel that Tropicana purchased. Let’s just say you get what you pay for. We paid a low rate and got a quite outdated room. From the looks that they just cleaned up the existing furnishings from the old hotel, some of which were not in the best of shape. Trim, broken on the bathroom, vanity, pieces of decoration chipped out in other parts of the room, that sort of thing. And the decor is old. The most annoying part, however, is that someone must’ve smoked in the room at some point in the past and the room stunk. They sent someone over to spray some sort of deodorizer on at work for about a half an hour, but they couldn’t get the stink out of the room.

Havana Tower, great if you don't mind a location farthest from the casino. I've stayed in this particular tower a few times. This particular visit, the bed was the worst! Tore my back up. Needs to be replaced ASAP. Temperature wise, could never get quite comfortable. The thermostat is ancient, there is no AUTO. Just on or off. Several sockets were not working. Rust were on several spots, especially in the bathroom.

For my entire visit my room was not cleaned, no towels or supplies was given to me and my husband. The noise level was bad. Also I was given a smoking eventhough I was booked fora non-smoking room, the person who gave us the told us all the non-smoking rooms were given to other people, I told her I am sufferers from asthma so the smell of the room, can aggravate my condition,. I was literally forced to accept the room or leave. So this stay was my worst experience at Tropicana, and I hope this will be the last. All in all I love eTropicana and this experience won't stop me from coming here.

Room was acceptably clean but needs a deep clean. Furniture chipped. Non smoking room but you could smell smoke in bathroom coming through vents- it was almost not tolerable . Very disconnected from human customer service since check in is completely automated. View was excellent and bedding was comfortable.
