Quality Inn & Suites Sturgeon Bay

This was an absolute terrible experience. We booked through Expedia and only booked here for the pool and hot tub, yet when we checked in, we saw the pool and hot tub were closed. We went to the room and it was filthy. Stained bedding, food on the floor, trashy furniture, and the toilet ran every 10-20 seconds. We tried for a refund and the hotel refused, and Expedia wouldn’t refund us without talking to the hotel…which wouldn’t answer the phone. We ended up checking out and staying somewhere else.

The furniture was older and scarred, but the beds were amazing!! I haven't been that comfortable in a very long time.

I booked a 2 night stay for an extended weekend. The exterior and lobby were pretty average but the further down the hall to the room I got, the dirtier it seemed to get. The already dark room had multiple lights out including the only one with a switch by the door. There were stains on the bedding and red stains on the mattress (I only noticed this because one corner had come off). It seemed as though it hadn’t been vacuumed in quite some time as there was a dead bug on the floor and lots of dust. The bathroom was recently updated however, there was a used washcloth (not from me) hanging on the shower head and hair on the shower walls and floor. Additionally, the bathroom smelt like marijuana, especially when the shower and fan were turned on. The pool was empty and the area by the back door was filled with dead bugs. I think it would’ve been a better use of time and money to clean the hotel rather than update the bathroom.

The hotel was dirty. I am not sure the last time the hallways were vacuumed. The staff at the front desk I think lives there, she showed up in her pajamas and a bowl of cereal to the front desk in the morning. Not a very impressive place. You can tell there has been some updates in the rooms but the property was pretty run down.

I didn't like dirty place everywhere in the room also 😕 no pool even on the website it showes is the pool available,refrigerator was not working

Inside smelled, carpeting was filthy, shower door didn't work properly, windows were dirty and cracked.
