I had a great stay with my husband at Holiday Inn Richmond. Vie was very kind and helped us during check-in. Kenneth brought our food to the room and we had a nice, fun chat with him. The staff were friendly and made our stay enjoyable!!

"Reasonable price"

I was looking for a one-night stay at a reasonable price while I was in town for a family event. This hotel came up with a very good price for the Lower Mainland. Their off-season rate was under $200, even on a weekend. In the end, I had enough IHG points to get the room almost free, so you can't beat that! The service on check-in and check-out was very courteous and friendly. I was a little surprised that the staff couldn't give me driving directions to Hwy 99 heading into Vancouver off the top of their heads, but after consulting a map to be sure they were right, they gave me very good directions. Given the price, I didn't have high expectations of the condition of the hotel, but my preconceived notions were incorrect. The hotel is in great shape. It appears from their write-up on this site that they may have just completed renovations. I would definitely stay here again! My only complaint was the lack of an elevator from the parkade. It was OK for me, but would be an issue for someone with mobility challenges. The only access from the parkade to the hotel appeared to be down half a flight of stairs. I had breakfast in the attached restaurant (Fogg n' Suds). It wasn't cheap and the portions weren't huge, but the food was very good. There is also a breakfast buffet available for $19.95.
