I think upgrading to a sea view or castle view room would’ve been a good idea My room faced the street but the windows kept out alot of noise

The view and the helpful staff. Breakfast was good too.

The mattress was really hard m, old and uncomfortable. You expect better for a 5 stars.

The hotel was very clean and beautifully decorated. The staff were very polite and professional. Our favourite part of the hotel was the rooftop restaurant La lampara and breakfast service to our room. This hotel has the best location in Ischia for sure.

Our room was situated right next to the elevator and cleaning room, our door to the room was not isolated so we heard everything that was happening in the hallway.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Far from the port, but very walkable to the castle (15 mins) & there’s a cute pedestrian area with shops & restaurants on the way. The hotel was very nice with beautiful views, a private beach, & an excellent breakfast (plus, a bar and another restaurant, although we didn’t stay long enough to try them). If we come back, I would stay here again!

The hotel is beautiful and right on the waterfront. It is in walking distance to the bus stop and many shops and restaurants. The hotel also has a wonderful breakfast buffet with excellent service. I also appreciate the small gym at the very top floor, that has an incredible view. Staff were very helpful, and i was always greeted and treated with respect.

The staff was extremely nice, helpful and very attentive. The rooms were very well appointed and the views of the ocean, beach and castle were spectacular. We also enjoyed our breakfast each morning and dinner on top of the hotel.

Small room

Beautiful hotel that feels like a 1920 movie set . The only few negatives were the bed was way too hard . Air conditioner noisy . Internet almost never worked. On one occasion a male working the front desk gave me the wrong room key . He should have ask my last name to confirm . Had us questioning how secure it was to turn in our key everyday. The staff are lovely. Surprised me with a birthday cake for breakfast ! We had breakfast included. Which was in this beautiful area . We did try the spa which was nice . The beach food menu is misleading. We ordered a pizza and received a big circle of bread with raw cheese & raw tomatoes on top ?

Air conditioning wouldn’t work.

Wonderful hotel in a residential part of the island. Beautiful sea views and the ancient castle is right outside the window. The staff is impeccable, the level and consistency of the service is akin to the finest hotels anywhere. Spend a few extra euro and request a first floor room on the sea side, they have enormous sun decks with day beds. Highly recommend this hotel if you want to experience authentic Ischia away from some of the heavy tourist areas.
