Still the lodge was adequate and we would stay there again if need be. Maybe renovations will bring it up to a better level. Just remember you are getting a good rate. Breakfast could use an upgrade too.

The room smelled so bad it was hard to breathe. The property itself was disgusting with garbage and vomit everywhere. Lots of vagrants hanging around made it feel very unsafe. Do not stay here!!

clean and quiet

The young man at the desk was friendly and helpful. Room was kind of dark but clean and comfortable.

Very tired motel. Clean enough if you are looking for cheap stay. There were a variety of people who were long term-so kids running around, sitting in the yard. Cooking outside. In addition the motel is run down. Paint peeling, carpet peeling, patches everywhere. I wouldn't get in the shower-it was just gross.

The price is right however the room definitely needed upgraded and a deep cleaning, police in the parking lot right after we checked in a few rooms down,that being said it is a nice area close to stores and resturants (Little Italy pizza AMAZING)

Very clean. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Inexpensive. It is not an extravagant hotel. I didn't need extra amenities beyond the basics (microwave, fridge, wifi). Great for a 2-night stay for business -- requiring only the necessities.

If I could give a zero star review I would. We have been coming for years for the Gus macker and have always stayed here because they were always reasonably priced for quality. But there is NOTHING decent about this place anymore. For starters the first room the assigned us wasn’t even cleaned at all. Beds still a mess. Garbage everywhere so we go back and they assigned us a new room and I wish we could have just had the first room because the second room was AWFUL. The tub was still dirty, we had wasps in our room and there was next to no water pressure in the shower. Not to mention the quality of the room felt like a jail. When we bring these concerns to the front desk we were told to wait for the head desk clerk in the morning because he couldn’t compensate anything. the next morning when we then talk to the head front desk, who speaks with the manager and then tells us they can’t do anything because everything gets run through the owner and they can’t give any refunds because they just got yelled at by him for a refund THEY DID THE PREVIOUS NIGHT. Which was the SAME PERSON who said he couldn’t do anything for us.. I am beyond disgusted by this. I have never had such an unpleasant experience somewhere where I wasn’t even compensated in the slightest for such a terrible stay.
