Comfort Inn Shelby

I don’t know how this hotel got an excellent rating. This is a very old building that needs renovation. The bathroom door would not close and it was very dirty also. Had to change rooms when we got there, as the lamp didn’t work. Second room had no remote. Had to go to the desk to get another one. Do not waste your money, stay somewhere else.

The hotel had a convenient location to the fairgrounds, shopping, and restaurants. It was quieter than expected. The facility shows its age, but it was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only issue was that the staff said that Hotels.com had overbooked King bed rooms, so I received a Queen bed room.

Very clean, very respectful, very helpful with all my questions and made sure I knew which cab company to use locally.There wasn't reliable Uber service and they saved me from missing my flight. Highly recommend!!!!! Thank you guys and appreciate your service..

It was close to a lot of restaurants, the bed was comfortable and the staff was nice.

The hallway smell kinda weird, the pool was not open, the furniture in the room could use some updating .

Unable to stay there due to a truck running into the building.

Robin was great! She was the receptionist when I arrived. She was courteous and kind! The only thing that went weird was that an 18 wheeler drove through the building and we had to evacuate. Robin was amazing! She made sure everyone got out safely and that she made sure everyone was accounted for. Cudos for Robyn!
