Travel House

For a compact en suite room, this has it all: a comfy bed, sofa, desk, kettle, a small fridge, some glasses, mugs and utensils, a few snacks, good AC, a large bathroom and even a balcony with a drying rack. The location is a 6-min brisk walk away from the central station from where trains go to Cinque Terre regularly, and a 15-min walk from the beautiful seaside promenade of La Spezia. The host was very responsive via messages.

The cleaning could have been a tad more thorough (especially considering crawling babies): there was a pool of foul-smelling dirty water underneath the toilet brush rack and some dust on the floor trims.

Loved this stay. It was clean and as you can see in the photos. It's an excellent location too with just 5 minutes from the La Spezia railway station and a couple of minutes from the town centre. The prime location let us travel back and forth frequently between the 5 villages and the room in case we needed some time to rest.

Kettle was stinky, loud doorbell to the common corridor, it was very noisy through thin door (especially in the night time)

The location to the train station and eating places was fantastic. There was also a good underground carpark close by.

The bed was not that comfortable. The lock on the bathroom door was suspect and needs fixing. My wife got locked in while I was down at the shops and thought she would never get out. If you were travelling on your own you could be in there for ages. The front door to the apartment building was also not the best. When you use the code to unlock it you have to push really hard to get it to open. If you were elderly or not that strong you would have a really difficult time opening it.

Everything was as described in the pictures! Very responsive and friendly host in Roberto. Thank you for the comfortable and cosy stay!
