Beds terrible , Room old chair broke Tv didn't work

Where can I begin? Let's start with the fact that when we checked in Friday March 20, 2026, we found that the property was being used by a local social service agency to house the homeless. Leading to garbage strewn in the hallway for the next 36 hours, doors banging and slamming open and shut throughout the night, constant talking in the hallway, running in the hallway. Al I want from a hotel is peace and quiet and safety. Instead we got motorcycles in the night outside our window and constant clanging in the hallway outside our door at 1 a.m. Choice Hotels should have paid us to stay there. Before we even got to our room, we were told there would be no breakfast either morning, only coffee. When I told the front desk on Saturday that our corridor was still strewn with trash 24 hours after w checked in I was told the hotel was short staffed. Not my problem! What a disaster. Not only will I avoid all Choice Hotels in the future, I'm canceling my Choice Hotels credit card today.

Made reservations through corporate website, got to hotel and they tried to extort 150. Cash. Told me that because my address was within 100 miles of their location. Being on disability I do not have an extra $150 cash. Tried to have them put 500 on my credit card. They refused. The next day when I tried to talk to management, the guy I got, told me they don't have to post all their requirements. Oddly enough when I stayed there for Thanksgiving, I did not have to pay the extra $150 and no one ever mentioned it. Needless to say they would not refund my money because they said corporate has to, corporate told me the location has to. So glad I used a credit card that could get rid of it. Would not recommend anyone staying at this place as they trying to extort cash. And I'll be honest the amount of homeless who are staying there, is way out of proportion to normal guests. But most of them are just fine.

The air conditioner was a little noisy.

The ac was very noisy and didn’t work well. It didn’t smell good. It was outdated. Not very clean.

I don’t like it at all. There was a horrible smell in the whole room, like it was damp. I don't know what smell. The whole room was horrible, there was a lot of noise all night. The beds were terrible. I couldn't sleep. Pillows were like little kids. Terrible experience. I wouldn't go back.
