Americas Best Value Inn Chippewa Falls

I was traveling alone, a seventy year old woman with a small show dog. When I arrived at dark there was a newly renovated lobby and I was hopeful that my room would be close to it incase my dog needed to go out during the two nights I planned to stay. The room I was assigned was as far away from the lobby as possible.Parking was not well lighted and there were teenagers in groups in the hallways and men sitting outside the entry doors drinking and smoking.When I asked to be moved to a more secure area in the motel the attendant told me they were booked (though there were only 7 or 8 cars spread out in the parking lot Turns out they only had 11 rooms and the rest were being renovated) He did refund my money and help me find another accommodation when I told him I was going to sleep in my car at the dog show.

They are remodeling the place. But my room had construction debris and dust everywhere!! Paint all over even on the bed! Air conditioner didn't work. They offered to move me after I told them but they shouldn't have even rented to room out. They had the cleaning person come back in to clean but it didn't get any better.

I think they might be remodeling but there's alot of work to do. Its ok for the price and we can never be too picky when travel with our dog. Staff was friendly.

Toilet was broken, and shower didn’t drain. tried moving to another room but it didn’t have ac. Pool was under construction. Bedding was stained. Weird odor throughout whole building. Will never return.

There was never no one around for service, you had to pick up the phone and wait for them to answer. The breakfast was to be desired, the coffee was so black even after 8 creamers, my coffee was so black, there was no place to sit, no juices, and I'm not even picky about breakfast, but it was to be desired. They checked us in and the room was even cleaned.

Property was under construction or remodel. It will be nice when finished, but has a lot more to finish. Low price was nice.

Friendly staff. Info on Expedia was inaccurate pool has been closed since January. I cancelled the reservation.

No one at desk… no breakfast was set up at 830.. Very smelly lots of construction material all over property. window would not close Dark messy parking lot

We had to ask for house keeping services after spending one night there. We had to ask for more towels, a hair dryer, a remote for the TV and for cable to be hooked up in the room. There was a noticeable gap above the doors. The carpeting was dirty and not installed properly in the hallways. The pool was being renovated, but we were not notified beforehand of that. We had to search for the ice and vending machines because we were not told where they were. There was also no phone in the room, although that may be how they set up the rooms. We were told that our room was still being done, and the floor in the bathroom was not fully tiled yet. All in all, the room quality was very poor. It looks like the hotel was under new management and once it is completed, it may be better. On a positive note, the items that we needed to ask for were brought in a timely manner.
