Rivers Edge Resort

Night staff was amazing when we checked in. The little cabin was nice, nothing fancy, but comfy and laid back. The restaurant on site was pricey was delicious and great staff. The morning staff that checked us out was rude and unhelpful. If it weren't for the way they treated us, this would be a 5 star review. Very disappointed with the 2 of them at the front desk. You never know what someone is going thru, not everyone is a tourist on vacation. Treat people kindly.

I always enjoy staying at River's Edge. They ARE cashless which was inconvenient when I have my other half $20 for breakfast. The garden cottages have nice semi-private back patios. The grounds are clean, they always hang some beautiful hanging flower baskets! I love the walk along the river and around the camp ground.

The cabins are actually very spacious and comfortable. We had a problem with mosquitoes in the room. We tried to get them out, but the cabins have very high ceilings. It is a outdoor in Alaska setting, but perhaps some weather stripping on the sliding door would help keep them out.

Affordable clean!

Amazing property next to a river. Great staff and service. A bummer that theyre in the flight path of planes taking off from the airport but the cotages are quiet, safe, clean and private.

Our room was located in the main lodge. It was nicely appointed and very clean. Would definitely recommend.
