No bot water in the shower in Room 2, very frustrating

Stayed in early November - We arrived late in the day, but checkin was a breeze, and the bar was still serving. Our host was helpful and really welcoming, there was plenty of parking available, and the rooms were comfy and warm. We'd arrived too late to catch the kitchen, but as there are a number of eateries nearby, we took a quick drive through town, and ended up at Aberavon beach for dinner at Remo's. We had a super relaxing night (it was SO very peaceful) and headed off early the next day to continue our travels.

The carpet in the hotelroom is way passed date and looks like that many little creatures start living there.....

Excellent standard of room , excellent staff .

Rooms slightly over priced , drinks slightly over price

The staff, excellent throughout. Evening meal was good. Good hot water…when it eventually got to the bathroom, it took an age to get to my bathroom, the other room had no issues. Bed was very comfortable.

The state of the rooms, flash back to the early eighties….not what you’d expect nowadays. The rooms need a desperate update, stains on all carpets throughout the upstairs, holes in the walls, noisy AC or Freezer kept me awake most of the night. Breakfast was good, but the plate was so cold, the breakfast soon lost it’s heat, shame as it was lovely, but for this.
