"A great place to stay with comfortable rooms and decent 🍲"

Convenient for motorway. It’s a pub with rooms so I could enjoy a pint at the send of the day. Nice warm room

The rooms are not perfect but more than adequate. ie no bedside lamp, shortage of sockets in room. But this is not a complaint as the value for money means not having everything perfect.

"Solid rooms and friendly staff but definite lack of polish and needs a spruce."

Friendly staff, nice welcome - Attached to pub so can head down to eat without going out if you want - Was a good en route stop for our walk.

Carpet was kind of grim, I think either needs replacing or a big steam clean - Offered breakfast including continental but no table with continel set up in the morning which was odd.
