Badkamer was klein en als men over de gang loopt bewoog het bed.

Unable to stay there.

Confrontational and aggressive manager who cancelled booking.

Clean, location suited us. Comfortable bar and restaurant areas - clean and well kept. Staff are trendily and helpful and clear with what is happening when etc as you need.

Car parking - we were in motorcycles and although there’s are cameras within the premises none were outside - this worried me as a bike owner as I’ve had bike stolen before.

Very nice bedrooms, bathrooms, toiletries

Erratic meal times. Refusal of evening meal at 7.30 pm one night due to kitchen closed, though family group later that evening obtained their meal after 8.30 pm Access after 9 pm was difficult as outside door system was damaged and we were given incorrect info as to work keypad. No response from phone call, we almost spent night in car but for fluke getting access after about half hour.

We always stay in the Black Lion when we’re in the area. We find the staff are always polite, friendly and helpful

Our room was cold but as it was May we didn’t really expect the heating to be on. Also I asked for our room to be changed as it was difficult for one our party to get to the 2nd floor so our occupying of that particular room was unexpected

The staff were excellent, really helpful and unobtrusive, given the hotel was going through some changes

No TV! The room TV hadn't been used so it wasn't connected.

Great location, very clean & comfy bed. Staff very helpful & had a good welcoming feel
